Marcie and Leo

As I followed her into the shower, there were parts of me who were excited. As she turned on the water, I stood behind her almost expectantly before she turned towards me again.

"A gift, huh?" she asked almost innocently.

I edged closer and ran my hands over her arms before grabbing the loofah behind her. As I started to dispense the bodywash on it, she looked at me expectantly. There were no words. It was just us working on setting up the shower. As I started to scrub her back, she asked again.

"Do you really consider every day with me to be a gift, Leo?"

"I do. You make me feel like the most blessed man on the planet, Amor."

I sensed her starting to melt before I leaned in and kissed her neck.

"I do know you believe that, Leo. Truthfully though, I am the lucky one."

I kept rubbing the loofah on her back before she turned to rinse off. She took the loofah from my hand and started to slowly scrub her chest and tummy in front of me as I watched.

"Do you remember the first shower we took together?" she asked.

I started to recall the first time we slept together after the first episode. I started smiling wide before she smiled back.

"You need to look at things from my side. I was an older widow who lost her husband. As much as you were suffering, I was also. Having someone accept me after that was a huge gamble. The fact that you were there for me before we did anything was a plus. You made me feel safe. You reassured me that things would be alright. You were there during the difficult times and were there to help me celebrate the highs as well. The fact you were cute helped also. You treated me like I was special."

It was that moment when she scooted closer.

"You still do," she whispered before her chest rubbed against mine and we kissed.

We spent the next ten minutes finishing our shower between kisses before she turned off the water. I quickly grabbed the towel and started to dry her off before she leaned in for a hotter kiss.

"I do enjoy all this attention, Leo," she started. "But you need some attention also."

She started to dry me off before she whispered in my ear.

"I need to get you off that leg."

We walked into our bedroom before she laid a towel on the bed. I behaved like a good patient and laid down. As she put a few pillows under my leg, I could feel myself start to ponder where I was. As she pulled the blankets over me, she kissed me on the forehead.

"I know this isn't what you expected," she started. "You need to rest a bit and then maybe we could do something later."

I started to protest before I felt the embrace of slumber wrap around me. It was a nice dream thinking about Missy telling me to slow down. It was when I felt someone's arms around me that I woke up slowly. I looked into the hazel eyes of the woman I married before smiling at her. Her lips then crushed against mine before she slid the blanket off. I felt the heaters on in the room since we were both in the state of undress. As I watched her straddle my stomach, she had that look of concentration on her face. I then felt her lower her head until she was laying on my chest. My arms went around her.

"You always told me you'd be nearby," she said.

I thought about saying that to her soon after she lost Mitchell. It was after I held her for a long time and allowed her to cry. It was also what she told me when I returned from the hospital the day Missy passed. It was a few days after that we went together to make the final arrangements for both of our spouses to be buried in the cemetery closest to where we lived. The fact they were not closer on the property was because Mitch already made arrangements. Missy was a year younger than me, so the thought of final arrangements wasn't discussed. I remember telling her those words when we parted that night.

"You said you always had me," she whispered.

I always told her during difficult conversations that I would have her back whatever she decided to do. Mitch was smart to ensure the house we now reside in was paid for. It was always easy to considering we used to be next door neighbors. It was as if our relationship was built on being there for each other. It took time to expand that circle to include Aubrey, Matt, Marcie's family and others through all the drama, crisis and impossible tasks we had done. Still, we had been there for each other.

"You let me grow," she said.

One of the focal points of our relationship was that I acknowledge Marcie as an independent woman first and foremost. I made it a point to never stifle her strength nor to inhibit her desire whatever she desired to do. We spent our time together, but by no means did she lack time for herself. She was able to exercise the way she chose. She was able to spend time with her family and friends as much as she was able. Marcie became a stronger person, even becoming my rock when it was needed the most.

"You taught me so much," she whispered.

"You taught me also, Amor," I responded before our lips touched again.

"You are always my gift, Leo. As much as you treasure me, you are a treasure also," she whispered as she started to raise her body.

I felt my hands side down to her waist as she gave me that seductive smile. I didn't even notice how effortlessly she slid me inside her before she stayed in that position. It was slow, deliberate movements. I had a feeling it was partially to keep me from hurting my leg more and partially because I was letting her have control again. As I edged closer to the end, she looked at me and smiled.

"Fill me, Master," she whispered. "Your goddess desires her tribute."

As I felt my soul become hers, the visions of our past lives started to blend before I felt her lips on mine again. If there is one thing I had learned being with two women who loved me, it was that I was a better man because of them. As I held her against me, I thanked the stars to be that fortunate.
