Getting ready for her night out

Kimi was feeling pretty good about herself, and somewhat naughty at the same time. Naughty isn't a word she used often, except with the children, but she felt that word described her the most. She was actively thinking and planning to go to the club wearing that blue summer dress, and if she felt the mood come over her, she could always remove the jacket and be a little sexier. Thursday night was just one night away, and the least busy of the two nights she could wear that dress, so she started planning.

She took off her sexy clothes and put on a conservative house dress before the kids came home. When the kids got home, they came running in to tell Kimi that the mother of one of their friends was here to talk to her. Kimi came to the living room to find Betty, the mom of the girl down the street, standing there.

Kimi: "How are you and what can I do for you?"

Betty: "Well Kim, Stan is out of town overnight tomorrow night and Lori wanted to have a sleep over, and I wanted to invite your Becky and Brenda to come and join us."

Kimi: "I'll check with him tonight and I'll give you a call."

Betty: "Great, I'll await your call then."

They said their goodbyes and Betty left, but Kimi was thinking about having the kids away Thursday night might be a blessing. She sent the girls up to their room to do their homework, and she started the family dinner. Chas got home about an hour later and Kimi was just getting done preparing their nightly meal. As they were eating dinner Kimi asked Chas,

Kimi: "Betty asked if the two girls could spend the night tomorrow for a sleep over, what do you think honey?"

Chas: "Well, if you don't mind spending the night in an empty house, I don't see why not."

Kimi: "Where are you going to be Chas?"

Chas: "I have to drive down to Pleasantville to settle a squabble with a supplier tomorrow, and I won't be back until Friday afternoon."

Kimi: "Well, I don't See why not, so I'll call Betty and let her know." All the while Kimi was thinking she would have Thursday night free to go to the club.

Chas: "Oh, and can you pack a suit and bag for me so I can leave right from work tomorrow night?"

Kimi: "Sure Dear, anything you need."

Now I'm his butler as well as housekeeper, nanny, and hostess, Kimi thought to herself. Her inner emotions were starting to get rubbed raw, thinking she wasn't appreciated as a wife at all. But she did everything as asked, packed his bags, packed what the girls would need for tomorrow night, cleaned up from dinner, and got to bed to find him dead asleep. She knew she needed one night to go and feel like a sexy, sought-after woman while she still could, and Thursday night was that night.

Thursday morning, she got Chas off with his luggage, and Betty picked up the kids and their bags, now she had the rest of the day to herself.
