*Ding dong*
Lucia waited patiently after ringing the door bell, taking a moment to straighten her ID which was clipped to her company uniform: a well-fitted purple polo shirt that accentuated her hourglass figure - particularly when paired with her black yoga pants. She put on her widest smile as she heard footsteps approach the door.
"Hello?" said a trepidations housewife as she opened the door.
"Hi there ma'am! I'm here representing Home Servicing Inc. Would it be possible to speak to Mr..." Lucia paused as she checked her clip board. "... ah, there it is, Mr. Martell?"
The woman eyed Lucia suspiciously, while Lucia grinned obliviously in return. "He's in the garage. What did you say this was about?"
"Oh he's home, wonderful!" Lucia said. "As I said, I represent Service Inc. Our records show that Mr. Martell applied to contract our services through our website, and I was hoping to conduct an intake appointment with him."
"Harold!" the woman yelled, still eying Lucia with suspicion. "Door!"
Lucia waited, smile still plastered to her face as Harold thumped his was towards the door. "You have a lovely home ma'am."
"... thanks." the woman replied as her husband approached. "Someone here about servicing? Are you finally getting someone to take a look at the air conditioner, like I asked you?"
Harold gave his wife a dirty look, but didn't take his wife's bait. With a huff, she retreated back into the house while Harold turned to face Lucia. "So what can I do for you, young lady?"
"Hi there Sir," Lucia began. "you may recall signing up for our services online last week? I'm here to conduct an intake appointment to set you up with our home visitation services."
"Oh!" Harold said, blushing. "That! I had almost forgotten that I had signed up... it had been a long night you see, and I'd had a few drinks..."
Lucia laughed warmly. "That's no problem. You would be amazed how often we hear that Sir."
"Yes..." Harold replied sheepishly. "Well. I'm sorry to waste your time, but I'm not sure..."
Lucia cut him off. "Oh there is no pressure sir! But I really encourage you to at least do the intake interview with me before you make any decision. There is no cost, and it will give you a really good rundown of the services we offer."
"Well I'm not too sure..."
"It will only take 15 minutes sir, and I'm sure you'll agree afterwards that you want to contract our services." Lucia smiled enthusiastically.
"Well all right then." Harold relented, glancing back towards the kitchen where his wife lurked. "Why don't you come on out to garage with me." he gestured out the front door to where an outside door to the garage was visible.
"No problem! Lead the way." Lucia stepped back, gesturing to him to pass by her.
Clipboard in her hands, Lucia followed Harold to the garage. As he walked towards the door, he glanced back, taking a good look for the first time at Lucia's curves beneath her uniform. Lucia smiled as his eyes met hers, and he blushed again before hurrying to the door.
He opened the door and ushered Lucia inside his two-car garage. He followed her in, and rushed to pull two shop stools out where they could sit face to face. Lucia accepted the offered seat with a nod of thanks, and sat looking at Harold, her clipboard at the ready.
"So." Harold asked. "Where do we begin?"
"Well first," Lucia answered. "let me begin by saying thank you for contacting us. We hope to set up a long-lasting and mutually beneficial arrangement."
She went on. "For starters I'll take some basic information down to help us build a client file. If you decide not to contract us at the end of this meeting, I'll simply leave the paper with you. We will always safeguard your private information, and will never keep a file on you unless you consent to it."
Harold nodded, and she continued, raising her clipboard. "So for starters sir, may I ask how you heard about our service?"
Harold chuckled. "Well to be honest a friend of mine is a client, and he told me about it. Then I went and checked out the website and... here you are."
"Okay great! Referrals from current clients is really our main source of new clientele, as we advertise very little. So when you visited our website, did you see the different packages we offer?"
"Well..." Harold stammered, looking at the floor. "Yes... but maybe you could go through them again for me?"
