Here's a little fable I hope you'll enjoy. It's in seven chapters and it's finished; I'll be posting a chapter each week, more or less. Its overall category is Group Sex, but the first two chapters will be here in Erotic Couplings, because our characters take a little time to work up to the group stuff and we don't want to disappoint any readers. There's going to be lots of sex, but again we'll start off slow so you have a chance to get to know our characters.
Admittedly, readers in search of a plot will likely come up wanting, and the odd idea or two that might be encountered can safely be ignored. This is mainly a romp, intended to be fun. May it inhabit your fantasies as it has mine!
Chapter 1. August
They had been very lucky, as any one of them would admit. A chance meeting with the landlord led to Gary persuading him to interview Gary and his friends as a group for the rental of the old Victorian rattletrap on Meredith Street, which was only a block off campus and two blocks from the campus nightlife.
Denny had been given the house by his parents on the occasion of his majority, partly to keep him out of the family business. This had been four years ago, so he was still young enough not to actively resent college students. The house came with a finished and furnished basement apartment, where Denny resided. It was cozy and convenient.
Denny had been leisurely painting the front porch one summer day when Gary, in town scouting for fall housing opportunities, happened along and struck up a conversation. When it was revealed that all of Denny's tenants had either graduated or were moving out for other reasons, Gary had sensed a main chance.
"Hey Denny," he said, "I have some friends who are looking to get out of the dorms this year, along with me. We could fill up your house in one step, save you lots of work. I think you'll like us once you meet us. What do you say?"
Thinking quickly, Gary knew that Tania was a given, and it was a solid bet that Jenna and Patrick would jump at the chance. He next thought of Billy and Kristie. Why, he wasn't sure. He hadn't seen them in almost a year, and they would be freshmen in the fall. Still, he thought they deserved a shot.
When Denny met with the group, he quickly realized that they were as near to ideal tenants as he was likely to get. All had sources of income, none seemed overly interested in the combination of alcohol and trashing property, and more than one spoke of their need to buckle down with their studies. He signed them on the spot and since they had the deposit and rent ready, they were clear to move in any time after the middle of August, before classes started.
They had all gone to the same high school back home. Well, to be fair, there
was
only one high school back home. Billy and Kristie were the youngest; they had just graduated that spring. The others were all starting their second year at State and were thrilled to get out of the dorms and live "like real people," as Jenna put it. They all talked it over and agreed that they would cooperate and make the old house a shared home, a far thing from dorm life or the isolated existence of renting a room with little regard for one's neighbors.
For Billy and Kristie it was a heady experience, leaving home at the age of eighteen and moving into a place of their own. This would involve responsibility! Not to mention that they would also be dealing with college classes for the first time. But the pair had been study buddies in high school, and being able to continue that made the prospect less scary.
_______________
It was a week before the start of classes, and Gary, acting as the organizer, got them all together for a walk-through, so they could see their living conditions and select their bedrooms. Denny had shown them the house quickly before their signing, but this would be a chance to look around leisurely and make plans.
They climbed the three wooden steps to the porch and entered through the front door. There was a bedroom on each side, door open. Each room was furnished with a comfortable-looking twin-size bed, a desk and chair, a chest of drawers, and a cushioned armchair in the corner. The room on the right looked out on the driveway, while the other had a view of a small flower garden along the side of the house.
"Wait until you've seen all the rooms before you decide," Gary said to them.
"Well, duh," Jenna retorted. She grinned, though, and shook her long chestnut brown hair.
In the back of the house, past the stairway to the second floor, there was a functioning kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, counter space and cabinets. It certainly was not fancy, and looked a bit run down, but it would serve.
"We'll need to come up with a kitchen policy," said Patrick, running his fingers through his neatly-trimmed stubble.
"Sure," Gary replied. "We'll talk afterward."
Behind the kitchen was another room that could have been a bedroom but had been converted to a dining room. The table was massive and sturdy, its polished wood surface showing some scratches but still beautiful. As well as a set of dining chairs, there were several cushioned chairs and a sofa placed along the walls. On the wall facing the back of the house a 40-inch television was mounted.
"I brought the TV from home," Gary explained. "All the bedrooms also have cable outlets, and they might even work. This one does, anyway. Basic cable only, of course."
"No porn then," said Patrick with a smirk.
They all laughed. Kristie blushed.
Gary went on, "This should be our common area. We could make it nice."
They went back into the kitchen. On the other side was a bedroom, fitted out like the others but a bit larger.
Gary said, "I've already seen all the rooms, and I'll claim this one, if no one objects."
No one did.
The first floor bathroom was tucked between Gary's room and the stairway. Again, nothing fancy but serviceable. There was even a shower curtain, which looked clean.
"Let's see the upstairs then," said Tania, her intense blue eyes flashing. She wanted an upstairs room.
They climbed the stairs, and of course the guys took notice of the girls' hips swaying as they climbed. Jenna had the most impressive curves of the three, inside jeans that fit like a second skin, which Patrick, following directly behind her, appreciated.
At the top of the stairs were two bedrooms immediately on the left, one toward the front and one toward the back of the house. Both were very much like the others. The upstairs bath was just to the right of the stairs. Past that was a kind of open mini-kitchen, with a refrigerator and a counter with a hot plate and microwave.
The last bedroom was reached by a narrow pathway along the balustrade, back toward the front of the house. They walked down it single file and looked inside. Nothing specialโin fact it was a little smaller than the others.
"I want this one," said Tania. "It'll be quieter."
"You just want to be away from us," Jenna teased her. "Can't blame ya."
"If this place had a tower, I'd want that. The farthest thing from the dorm."
Jenna wandered back to the other two rooms, and Patrick followed her.
"I like upstairs, too," he said, catching up with her. "Are you looking at one of these?"
Billy and Kristie were headed downstairs, presumably to claim the two rooms left there.
"Yeah," she said, looking into the front room. "This one looks like it gets more morning light. Do you mind if I have it?"
"Nope," he replied. "This one looks fine to me. Hey, if we ever change our minds, we can always trade."
That got a smile from her. Big and bright, hazel eyes shining. Nice. He was going to like living next to her. He gave her his best smile in return.
Downstairs, Kristie asked Billy if she could have the room next to the garden. Of course she could.
"Do you feel like we're the new kids in town?" she said.
"Yeah, I know what you mean," Billy replied. "We're frosh now. They've been up here a year. It was okay for them to hang out with us when we were juniors. Now..." he let it hang.
"Still, they brought us in on this deal. They must still want us around."
"Hope so."
