Sage stepped off the elevator and onto her office floor, glancing to see if anyone was paying extra attention to her. The reality of what she had done at her networking party was setting in, and Sage couldn't help but feel everyone knew her dirty little secret.
Part of her regretted bringing a co-worker into her sex life, but another part of her relished in the risk. For once in her life, she felt completely in control. For once, it felt like her life was more than the mundane day-to-day of corporate life. Mixing work and play was always risky, but risking everything made her feel like a god.
Sage felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and promptly went to open it.
Jeremy: Hey, missing you today. Hope I didn't ride you too hard last night ;)
Sage smiled at the message. Jeremy was always so innocent, even when he tried to be bad. Over the last few weeks, he couldn't stop asking about what had happened with Theo and what positions he'd fucked her in. Then, after taking her time explaining every detail to him, Jeremy would try and recreate it himself. But his average size, lack of stamina, and gentle soul made the sessions feel like a poor rendition of what had happened. But that didn't matter to Sage. That was part of the fun. Jeremy could never be Theo or David, but he loved her in a way neither would ever truly understand. And so long as they were both having the time of their lives, she had no problem continuing her adventures. Sage quickly sent a reply.
Sage: You'll have to try harder than that to make me sore, especially after the massive cocks I've taken babe.
Sage sent the message, biting her lip when Jeremy replied with a thumbs-up. Shit. Had the message been too harsh? It was always hard to gauge how much she wanted to torment him. She followed up with a brief response.
Sage: But your cock feels the best. It's the one I love the most. Thinking of you <3
Sage smiled when she saw Jeremy heart the message immediately.
Jeremy: Love you so much, hope you have a great day!
Sage closed her phone, feeling better knowing that Jeremy was in a good space. She hadn't told him about David and Theo spit-roasting her, but she figured that was a harmless white lie for the time being. What mattered now, more than anything, was damage control. Though she hoped it wouldn't be necessary.
Her eyes peered around the room for Theo, and it didn't take her long to spot him chatting in the recreation area with three other salesmen. Theo appeared to be leading the conversation, and the three hung on his every word. As she drew near her office, one of them spotted her and muttered something. The rest looked. Theo stared for a moment, giving a wave as Sage waved back while entering her office.
The group burst out into laughter.
No way, there was no way Theo would be telling them about what happened. His job would be in as much jeopardy as hers if he did. Sage sat at her desk, shaking her head as she pulled out her laptop.
She tried to remain calm, assuring herself that Theo would never ruin his chances of having her again by bragging, it wasn't in his character. At least, that's what Sage tried to tell herself as she began scrolling mindlessly through her emails. She did her best to concentrate, looking over at Theo and his rabble of Salesmen several times to see if there were any signs he might be talking about last night. The group looked over on more than one occasion, laughing more than once as they did.
Sage couldn't take it. She needed to know what was going on. She promptly went for her phone and found Theo's number, but as her thumb hovered over the call button, there was a wrap on her door. Sage jumped at the sound, promptly putting her phone away as a secretary peeked into Sage's office.
"Hey Rebecca, what can I help you with?" Sage did her best not to sound breathless.
"Hey Sage, sorry to interrupt you so early, but I actually have an outside rep who's here to talk about some packages we offer," Rebecca said. Sage tried to look past her to see who it was.
"Did we start a new marketing project?"
"We did, I know it's last minute, but I've been assured it will move quickly, so it should be off your plate soon. Also..." Before Rebecca could finish, a voice boomed from behind her.
