Sasha Goes to Uni - Chapter 10
Text Talk Diplomacy
Sasha hurried to the Modern Language houses. They were three spacious former homes converted into meeting rooms, seminar rooms, and offices. The offices were lovely, comfortable spaces and professors considered themselves lucky to get them students in upper-level classes loved the smaller intimate classes held there.
Everyone in general loved the multi-cultural dinners held in the large meeting area in the largest house, with its dark wood floors and wide spiral staircase leading to the second floor where most of the department offices were. All along the back of the houses, any fencing had been removed and there was a long lawn with trees and benches and a few picnic tables that were enjoyed by everyone
The buildings were on a street of houses owned and converted by the university. Protesters in the 1960's had made the university reconsider demolition to replace them with a new, single concrete structure. The decision was a success lauded by European architectural and historical journals.
Sasha entered from the rear of the largest house. She had a key because she did work for Dr. Greenwood. She went to the first floor washroom. She had a bandana I'm her bag, and she used it to wipe her pussy and inner thighs with warm water. She washed her face and hands and thought how excited she had been by her voyeur experience moments before.
When she checked her messages on the way over, there were several from René including a lot of photos.
Most were family shots, but there was a short video of a sort of a birthday celebration showing René's ailing mother, her doting husband, René's stunningly beautiful sister, Annika, his handsome brother, Hans, a couple of others, and a blonde girl with long braided hair who seemed to be all over René.
She went though them again. The girl was all over the place.
Her phone vibrated and she saw another message. The beautiful girl, René's parents, and his siblings all together.
The message read: Anni's birthday. If you are wondering about Ellie (braids), you remember I told you about her. Parents always invite her over. We aren't together.
She texted back: Looks like she doesn't think that. Oh. She is beautiful.
René's response was quick: Don't worry. I do love you. It's just my mom is always pushing.
Sasha: I love you too. But if you are horny... I would have sex with her. She's like a female you. Remember what Hannah said about "hall passes"? Maybe she will come to Geneva for a visit. We can all have fun. Like with Hannah and Lucia.
She paused for a moment. Did she mean it? "No hangups," she thought. She decided she meant it and pressed send.
René: Not intending anything. You are right. That would be fun. She's never had sex with girls. And hall passes are for everyone if you need attention.
Sasha: We could set her up with you roomie, Sanjay. He's sexy.
René: That would be interesting. Have to go. You have fun. I love you and wish you were here.
Sasha thought describing the library encounter would be too complicated. She texted: I love you too. So much! No jealousy - remember. No hangups. Toodles!
("Toodles!" was another expression she had picked up from Hannah.)
Sasha was confident that she meant it all. Her mother had ingrained in her that people made relationships happen by being open. And she had known René only a short time. They were not like Midori and Kenji - frustrated and far apart. And she did not want them to be.
Chapter 11 - Midori Meltdown
Feeling a bit refreshed and tidier - although without knickers - Sasha made her way up the spiral staircase her winter coat slung over her arm. Dr G had a sort of anteroom with a desk she often used. She could leave the papers there.
Dr. G' door was ajar. And a light was on. The building was quiet and she gently laid her things on the desk outside. Then she could hear a woman crying as Dr. G said, "There, there now."
Sasha paused, uncertain of what to do. She had already been a peeping Tom once today, but this sounded private. Giselle and Pierre were in the library knowing they might get caught - thus the thrill of public sex. She thought that this time she should quietly slip away.
As she picked up her coat she knocked her bag on the floor. In the quiet house, the minor thud it made sounded very loud.
"Shit!" She hissed, trying to be quiet.
"Lachlan! Someone is outside!" Midori's voice sounded alarmed. Was she the woman crying?
Dr. G opened the door and was surprised to see Sasha, mouth agape, not knowing what to do.
"Sasha?"
"Lac... Dr. Greenwood! I was dropping off papers... and..."
Midori appeared behind him She had indeed been crying. A lot. Her make-up was running a bit, and she had a devastated look on her face.
"Midori?" Sasha wondered if someone had died.
"Oh, Sasha!" Midori rushed to Sasha. Throwing her arms around the tall Sasha's neck and embracing her, Sasha was utterly confused. Did this have something to do with her. She wrapped comforting arms around her friend, gently patting her back. Midori was weeping. Sasha looked up in wonderment at Dr. G.
"Midori's had some troubling news," he said plainly. Even then, he had a genuine soothing tenor to his voice. Something everyone loved.
Now Sasha was sure someone had died.
Dr. G attempted to continue, "It seems that Kenji, uh..."
"Lachlan, don't you say his name to me!" Midori shrieked as she spun away from Sasha. She stormed back into the office.
"You may as well come in," Dr. G sighed. Sasha entered the office and Dr. G. closed the door.
Lachlan Greenwood, Ph.D., had a nice office: large desk, armchair and lamp by the windows, bookshelves, separate computer desk, and a large black leather chaise lounge, among other comfortable accoutrements.
Midori was sitting on the chaise, crying, but obviously also angry. She muttered Kenji's name along with a string of Japanese and English expletives, burying her head in her hands.
Sasha had a feeling that Kenji was far from dead, but that Midori might kill him herself if he were present.
Midori looked up at her.
Shit!
Sasha thought.
