This is a brand-new story that will be told in multiple parts. I put it in the Erotic Couplings category because the first part has a consensual sex scene. Most of the rest of the story will be NonConsent/Reluctance.

##
Joe first met Sophia when she moved into the apartment across the hall from him eight months ago. From the start, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She had a classic beauty as if someone had plucked her out of a black-and-white movie and transported her to today. Her long black hair fell in soft waves past her shoulders, and she had huge brown eyes that drew him in. She wore a University of Georgia sweatshirt, and through her movements, he saw she had a thin body with long legs and ample breasts. His last girlfriend had C cups, and though Sophia was thinner, he could tell they had the same breast size.
He overheard her talking about sophomore classes to her roommate (who he later found out was named Claire). Boxes labeled "BOOKS" in neat handwriting were stacked up outside their apartment while they were moving them in. He offered to help, and that was their first introduction.
"Where would you like these?" Joe asked, his biceps flexing from the weight of four boxes.
He felt her eyes on him, but she looked away quickly. "Against the wall would be great. By the way, I'm Sophia." Her voice had a musical quality, or that was just how Joe was already romanticizing this introduction.
At one point, he happened to see a framed photo of Sophia from last semester. She wore a tight black dress, with two strips of fabric draped from her neck, barely covering her breasts before joining the body of the dress. She wore no bra, and from the angle of the photo, Joe could stare at her side boob and the valley of her cleavage, making his mouth go dry. The dresses hem ended below her thighs and showed off shapely, thin legs. Her black stilettos showed off her pedicured toes painted in red, which matched the color of her lipstick. She posed with one hand on her hip and the other flashing the peace sign with her tongue stuck out into the side in a playful and seductive way. Joe found himself staring at the photo for way too long.
He went on to find out that she just turned nineteen, and she and Claire had met in the Creative Writing program last year in the dorms, but they decided to move out to an off-campus apartment together. Joe had graduated last year from the accounting program, so he was familiar with UGA.
It took him three more days of casual passes in the hallway and quick hellos at the gym in their building to start their simple relationship. Definitely friendly in the beginning. She had a boyfriend, Joshua.
And this guy was a real piece of shit.
The first time Joe met him, Joshua had Sophia's arm grouped in his hand, practically dragging her through the hallway and berating her for not having enough money on her debit card to pay for his dinner at The National, this trendy Mediterranean place in their town of Athens, Georgia. Joe asked if she was okay, and Joshua told him to "shut the fuck up." Joe wanted to choke him out, but Sophia told him she was fine but thank you.
And there were more stories. The worst was when there was a party at an off-campus apartment. Sophia and Claire had invited Joe. Sophia was there alone for a while, and he got to talk to her about her family (her mother was Filipino, while her father was Caucasian). How she was an only child, and how his parents had unfortunately passed away in a car accident two years ago. They bonded over both of them not liking drugs or alcohol, which was rare among other students at UGA. They chatted about modern literature, especially poetry, which she loved. Joe knew about Pablo Neruda, her favorite poet, and she blushed as she recited one of his most famous love poems.
Josh showed up a few minutes later, already heated, already drunk. Sophia was separated from Joe quickly. About twenty minutes later, Joe went to the bathroom and found the door unlocked. There, standing against the wall, was Josh, leaning back with his pants down. Sophia was on her knees as he held her head and thrust into her mouth repeatedly.
"Dude, get the hell out!" Josh shouted and threw a roll of toilet paper out.
Sophia pulled away, leaving a string of saliva between her and Josh. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and glanced at Joe, tears in the corners of her eyes. Joe felt so bad for her when she looked at the floor, shoulders sagging.
"Sorry, the door was unlocked and—"
"Get out!" Josh shouted.
As Joe closed the door, he couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
"Please, Josh, it's already been ten minutes."
"Just keep going. I'll get there. You have to take me to the back of your throat more. Really choke on it."
"Okay, baby, I'll try."
Many thoughts went through Joe's head after that night. One of them involved finding Josh outside, taking a baseball bat to the back of the skull, and dumping him in Lake Oconee. Another involved practicing some high-level jujitsu on each of his limbs.
The next day, Sophia stopped over with some banana bread to apologize for what Joe had seen. She apologized to him?!
"I know you like Josh, and it's none of my business, but he is the most toxic person I have ever met. Sophia, you are incredible. You shouldn't—"
Sophia looked away from him and pushed the dish of banana bread into his hands. "Josh said that I can't really see you. It's just better this way if we keep our distance."
After that day, and given the ultimatum, Joe had to keep seeing her. Lucky for both of them, Josh crossed a line. He had the audacity, or maybe the confidence, to bring a girl to Sophia's apartment when he thought she wasn't coming home. Joe didn't know what inspired her to gain so much strength, but he watched as she broke up with Josh.
"Get out! Both of you and Josh, we are through."
"Baby, I'm sorry. She means nothing to me. It was just this one time."
The other girl stormed out of the apartment, yanking on her top as she moved toward the elevator.
"I did everything for you," Sophia said, her voice cracking. "Give up going home over Christmas to spend the break with you. Give you money to fix your car last week because you lost all your money on DraftKings. I do whatever you want and never ask for anything. And you have sex in my bed?"
