After a slow day at work in my office, I decided to hit my favorite bar just to have a couple drinks and chillax. They usually have live bands who perform for free just for the exposure. Some are great and some are, shall I say, less than great.
I was sitting at the bar, my back to the bar so I could watch the band, which tonight was three guys and a girl. They called themselves the Wandering Wolves. I thought the name was appropriate because the lead singer yelled and screeched so much that I didn't catch any of his lyrics.
To my surprise, two girls walked up to me out of nowhere. I was not looking for love, but I never discourage girls who are bold enough to flirt.
They were sort of dressed like Goth girls; one had short black hair, blue eyes but black eye shadow and black lipstick. She wore a light black jacket over a black blouse and a very short (thank you) black skirt and black combat boots.
The other one had black hair to her shoulders, brown eyes with black eye shadow and black lipstick. She wore a dark purple pullover sweater and a black boa scarf around her neck. She also wore a jet black very short skirt and dark hiking boots. I decided, looking at their skirts, that I liked them right away.
They greeted me at the same time with big knowing smiles.
"Hi!" "Hi!"
"Hello, young ladies, how are you tonight?"
"Great, and surprised to see you," said blue eyes.
"Yeah, where have you been lately?" Asked brown eyes.
"Just working and hanging around here now and then."
"We're surprised that you never called us," said blue eyes.
"Girls, I'm drawing a blank here; have we me before?"
Blue eyes stared at brown eyes for a minute.
"Jade, I don't think he recognizes us," she said.
"What? Will, you remember us, don't you?" Asked brown eyes.
"Girls, I can't believe I could forget two hot girls like you two. How do we know each other?"
"I'm Kiki and this is Jade. We were here for a big New Year's party two and half years ago and we spent the night at your place," explained Kiki.
"We were all pretty smashed," added Jade, "but you changed our lives."
"Me? How could I change your lives?"
"Jade and I work together but we were just friends then, until that night with you."
"Yeah, thanks to you," added Jade, "we realized what we really wanted in life. We're a couple now."
"You're a couple, because of me?" I asked, dumbfounded.
"Right; we're lesbians, Will, thanks to you," stated Kiki.
"Well, I guess I should say "you're welcome" but I'm confused as to what I had to do with it."
