Summer owned a sturdy two-story building called The Loft where Summer's Art Boutique was located. She loaded up the Sprinter Thursday night so she could get an early start Friday to set up her booth at the park.
Summer had just completed a series of lifesize bondage portraits. She was so eager to get started on that project, now she was happy it was done.
Next, she had to produce a showing of her of it. The implications for her career and the production details were more than she could handle right now. It could wait until next week.
Summer was looking forward the the weekend Art Show as a working vacation.
She parked her camper next to her space so she wouldn't have to break it down every night. She would spend the weekend in the camper to keep and eye on the place. She rented a double space this time since sales were brisk at the Spring event.
At the Spring event she had run out of stock, so on the fly, she set up easels to paint more pictures for customers. People enjoyed seeing the artist create their paintings in person.
Summer even allowed kids to create paintings for themselves. The customers loved it and she even got a mention on the park's event blog. Traffic at The Loft picked up considerably.
She hoped her popularity carried over to the summer event.
Summer had everything set up. She had a selection of large panographic photos of local sites that were always big sellers. She was well stocked on finger paints, too.
She was all set up so she decided to walk down to the restrooms and grab some lunch on the way back. She painted a quick sign that read, "Back in 15 minutes," and headed out.
