The next day, in the semi finals, Barbara was amazing, really on her game. She blew past her opponent and took the match in record time, winning 6-1 and 6-1. She and Phil were excited and eager to see her take on the reigning champion in the finals.
Cora met them in the hotel lobby and congratulated Barbara on her success. They all decided to meet back in the lobby for drinks and an early dinner, and then they retired to their respective rooms.
Later, when Phil and Barbara were dressing for dinner, Phil tried to get romantic. He stepped behind Cora, reaching around her with both arms and kissed her on the back of her neck.
"You know, a little quickie before dinner might enlighten the mood," he suggested in her ear.
"Phil, I guarantee you will get laid tonight, but let it rest for now; I'm really hungry."
"So am I, babe, and I can make it worth your while to let me eat a little."
Cora had already put on her dress and was adjusting her earrings when Phil made that last comment. She turned to face him.
"Get on you knees," she said firmly.
Phil dropped to his knees in front of her, anticipating and expecting to give her oral sex. Cora lifted her dress high enough to expose her soft blue cotton panties. Phil thought she had the sexiest legs in the world. She stepped close to him, thrusting her pelvis in front of his face.
"Is this what you want, baby?"
"You know I do; can I have a taste before dinner?"
"Kiss me where I like to be kissed."
He leaned in and kissed the crotch of her panties. He smelled the sexy perfume that she had dabbed on her inner thighs. He closed his eyes and sighed heavily.
Cora pushed his head away and flipped her dress back down over her legs.
"You know you can't eat your dessert before dinner, you bad boy."
"Cora, you're such a tease; you're killing me."
"And you LOVE it, babe. Hurry up, we've got to meet Barbara."
When they gathered in the lobby, they took a cab to Eighteen at the Radisson in Covington, a suburb of Cincinnati. On the top floor, the revolving restaurant provided a 360 degree view of the skyline and the Ohio river. They all had a great conversation, primarily focused around Barbara's talent.
"You've come a long way since you started training with Phil," Cora mentioned.
"Yes, I owe him a lot, but I just want to make him proud of me," Barbara replied.
"You already have, and tomorrow I'll be the proudest yet, just having you in the finals," boasted Phil.
They toasted to Barbara's future and when the meal was finished, they took a cab back to the hotel. When they entered the lobby, Cora gave Phil a suggestion.
"Why don't you get a bottle of champagne and bring it to our room? The three of us can celebrate tonight."
"That sounds fun, as long as we don't tire Barbara out; she has the finals late tomorrow afternoon."
"Don't worry," Barbara said, "I'll take a nap if I have to; I'll be fine."
