Over the next school year I continued to tutor her son. We were definitely close, but never had an opportunity to meet as we did for our last intimate session. You could tell there was sexual tension and we both wanted it, but without an opportunity we couldn't do much about it. We would text casually with each other, being a little flirty, but she wasn't really into that very much. As the school year came to a close and her son graduated, we lost touch with each other and I had to chalk this up to a missed opportunity.
It was about 2 years later I ran into her again at a restaurant bar of all places. She was having dinner with a friend and I was picking up a carryout order. We embraced each other warmly as was our custom with a slight peck on the cheek to go with the long big hug. And just like that the urges were there, you could tell the chemistry had never really gone away more had laid dormant without any outlet. We broke apart from our hug reluctantly, but as we were in a public place with her friend right next to us, it was all we could do.
We talked for a few minutes, catching up on things. I found out she had moved and decided to stay in state rather than relocate. Her son was a sophomore in college and doing well. She was single again after dating someone for a year or so. We parted ways vowing to reach out by text soon to stay in touch. I took this as a good sign and left after I gave her another bone crushing hug. A peck on the cheek from each of us followed the hug and I left hesitantly.
I waited a few days as I didn't want to seem too eager, damn I felt like I was in school again, and texted her. I made sure to text her after working hours so I could actually get her undivided attention. I mentioned how good it was to accidentally run into her the other day and how much I had missed her. To my surprise and delight I got a response within a minute, almost as if she was waiting for my text. She replied back how much she had missed me too and loved bumping into me.
We chatted by text for a few minutes but I wasn't too confident anything would happen knowing she didn't like to have full conversations by text. She broke the ice asking what I was doing for lunch the following day. Thankfully I was working from home and had the flexibility to break away for lunch. Truth be told I would have rearranged my entire schedule to meet for lunch. We agreed to meet at a local deli for soup and sandwiches. Needless to say I was very excited and got the impression that she was too.
The next day I showed up a little early for lunch and to my surprise she was already there. It seems we were both a bit excited to see each other again. We greeted each other in our usual way, although we got to extend the hug longer this time than in front of her friend. Reluctantly we pulled away and ordered our food. Sitting down and waiting for the food to be prepared we caught up on things. Turns out she broke up with her boyfriend as she wasn't willing to settle for anything and there were things that just weren't right. She didn't go into any details though, and I didn't press her. I explained things had remained unchanged at home, we were still together, although more like roommates than husband and wife.
We talked about anything and everything over lunch including her son now in college. She mentioned that he was doing well in most of his classes and enjoying being away from home. She did seem to enjoy having an empty house though.
