Mary was spending a week at the lake for her birthday during spring break with her parents. She was a senior in high school but never had the freedom to make her own decisions. Mary's parents were very religious and had a set of strict rules that she must follow. She wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend or wear anything too revealing. It didn't matter that she was eighteen now still had to follow their rules. Mary had long red hair green eyes that sparkled like gems and a nice attractive figure.
Mary was still a virgin and was desperate to have a boyfriend because she was lonely. She had an innocent longing for a boy to pay her some attention like the other girls got in her school. Since it was against the rule to dance with a boy, she missed out on all those school dances. Mary always followed her parents' rules in the past, and today she was about to break them for the first time.
After arriving at their cabin, she went for a walk down a trail in the woods and met a cute guy named Brad where the two of them started talking. He invited her to his cabin, but she had to explain all the embarrassing details about why she couldn't. She then learned that his parents were just as controlling as hers, and it wasn't until after he started college that he became truly free. He was twenty-one, and not a boy like those guys in her school.
When Monday comes, she will be back in school with the boys walking past her like she wasn't even there. It wasn't because they thought she was unattractive but didn't want to waste time on someone unattainable. They went for easier girls who gave them little to no resistance when trying to have sex.
Brad talked her into meeting him later because he knew a secret spot that he wanted her to see that was amazing. She knew that it was against the rules but agreed to it anyway. He was cute and Mary wanted to experience what it would be like having a boyfriend. Not that she thought they were dating she just wanted a little taste of what it could be like to have one. Mary's naΓ―ve mind didn't see the harm in hanging out with him for a little bit before going back to her boring life.
They talked for a few minutes and Mary enjoyed his company. He was a very charming man with a smile that made her stomach tighten up with excitement. She was worried her parents wouldn't let her go out again but was so relieved when they didn't reject her request. Mary was so ecstatic that she could see Brad again that she couldn't stop thinking about him.
Every footstep that Mary took filled her heart with more joy and felt a warm glow engulfing her body when she saw Brad. She listened to every word he said while following him into the woods and was too naive to see the danger in it. He was majoring in business with a minor in art. Brad talked about how their parents were wrong about their rules, and nothing bad would happen by breaking them. He made an effort to point out that only kids follow their parents' rules, and adults make their own.
The more she listened, the more she believed that he was telling the truth. Mary didn't think that Brad would lead her astray. The lack of experience with boys kept her ignorant of their deviant ways and made her easy prey to their lies. Watching guys walk past her each day, giving what she desired to other girls made her desperate to have any boy's attention.
"We are almost there," Brad said, looking back at Mary with a smile.
A moment later, he led her to a small clearing with a swimming hole that was hidden by the forest and couldn't see any trails leading to it. She was glad of that because it lowered the chances of being caught. She wanted to spend time with Brad without any risks of her parents finding out. Mary knew that she might not get another chance like this again and didn't want to waste the opportunity.
She was finally alone with a guy but didn't know what to do. Mary felt nervous energy rising within her and was at a loss of what to say to keep things flowing. She hated being eighteen and clueless about boys. All the other girls her age already knew the basic knowledge that her parents kept from her. She was glad that Brad knew just what to do and took control of the moment. He kept their conversation going by saying all the right things a naΓ―ve young girl like Mary wanted to hear.
"Beautiful," Brad said as he looked over the water and back at her.
"It sure is," replied Mary.
"No, I mean you. You are beautiful," Brad said with a sexy smile.
Mary couldn't help herself from smiling while her face turned red from blushing. That was the first time someone had told her that she was beautiful before but didn't see it as a line. The longer they went on talking, Mary couldn't find any fault in Brad's words. She felt so captured by his words and his beauty that she would do anything that he asked.
"Since we are here, why not go for a swim."
"But I don't have anything to swim in," Mary said while regretting not wearing a bikini underneath her clothes.
"Yes, we do! Bikinis are just underwear that you wear while swimming. It is okay if you don't want to, and it is getting late..." Brad said playing it cool and waited to see if Mary took the bait.
Mary didn't want to strip down to her underwear, but she didn't want this moment to end either. She felt fear and excitement stirring within her as she made a decision that would change her life forever. She was too naive to know where Brad was pushing things and was walking blindly into his trap.
