The potato quality ghost video was of a man waking up in the middle of the night with some loud banging noises. He was bare chested with a large Aztec circle tattoo on his back. He panned the phone camera in the dark, showing himself in the mirror, he was wearing thin grey track pants and was well hung, showing too clearly. Then he swung the camera to the closet and a girl suddenly popped her head out before disappearing back inside. He started swearing and the video cut off.
Cory chuckled at the submission, it was an obvious fake but the jump scare was not that bad. The good part was the hunk behind the camera, he smiled internally as he pixilated the bulge. He researched the handle and he was right, the hunk in the video -- beinga!one03 was a Spanish physical trainer and influencer with hundreds of 30 secs videos and many of them in wet grey shorts and tracks. "Hmm! Not bad!" Cory smiled. He went to the part of the peeking ghost girl and zoomed in to see the face... the quality ensured that the face was unrecognisable. He added his comments and updated the video, asking his fans to decide if it was a real ghost or a hoax!
He needed one more good video to close his weekly top 10 scary videos. The next one was from a paramedic. It was shot with a HD mobile camera in a luxurious holiday home in an expensive and rich folks' area in Texas. Cory always liked paranormal captures sent by first responders, they were mostly genuine and all of them were cute.
But this video was different, the large house was on fire with cops and fire responders surrounding it but no one was doing anything to stop the fire. The first responders looked on in shock, as phantom children surrounded some shadow figures. An apparition that looked like a woman was standing in the middle of the fire. What sounded like whispers and moaning was captured within the sounds of sirens, fire and the house falling apart.
He zoomed in on the apparition which was a burnt woman but translucent and obviously non-human. The video panned to the ambulance with a group of extremely good-looking men, a large white guy with golden hair, a muscular extremely handsome Afro-American man in what looked like a robe and a small brown-haired cute man in arms of the white man. He was staring at the fire and smiling oddly.
Cory was a paranormal enthusiast since he was a kid, had been a ghost hunter and running a 11 Million subscriber channel of compiled real paranormal videos for eight years, so he had seen it all. But this video disturbed him, this was real... too real, bone chilling and leaving lights on at night, real.
He did his usual checks and video analysis to debunk the video, even though he knew in his heart, this was 100 percent genuine. He enhanced the audio and was listening to it carefully with his headphones on... What he heard made his blood run cold!
The video was full of children whispering in multiple languages, but everyone said the word 'Noah'. There were moans and shrieks of grown men, guttural demonic sounds of being tortured, they all screamed 'Noah.
But the most terrifying of them all was a woman's voice... The woman's voice. She was shrieking and shouting, her words jumbled and overlapping but in the end of the video, when the paramedic had focused the shot on the small man covered in a woman's robe, she said, "Its coming for you... it will take everyone you love... you will die alone, Noah!"
Cory took the headset off and switched the monitor off. He looked at the watch, it was ten to five in the evening, that's early morning in India. He knew his partner, guru, guide and best friend, Rishi, would be awake for his Yoga and Meditation. He quickly compiled the video with enhanced audio and sent it to him. It was a 1 minute and 38 seconds video and in exactly 2 minutes after sending it, his phone started ringing.
"We need to find Noah!" Rishi said, his deep beautiful voice seeping with concern, "Cory! Don't circulate this video. Its... Its...I don't know but just don't!"

"I have found Alex, head chef in Meilleure Nourriture. Quite famous, Michelin star winning chef. I have his number; the Maître' d is a fan!'" Cory was on a video call with Rishi.
"And Noah is also quite famous himself, an author, elementary teacher, social worker and blind! No number and the maîtres was very fond of him, he is Alex's fiancé." He gave details of his investigation, about the house, its past and the family.
"You said this is dangerous, then why are we getting involved?" Cory couldn't help but feel anxious about this assignment.
"Life is a string of opportunities to help others, we miss one bead and someone or something starts unravelling... we have to help if we can... that's karma, Cory!" Rishi always made everything sound pragmatic with his deep voice and sexy accent.
