With Jason back, life soon got back to normal. The first couple of days he spent it telling us how sorry he was and we poked some fun at him. But we assured him everything was fine now. I decided to take him on as a full on employee now. Which allowed me to take personal days off.
I had also begun looking for a jacuzzi that Steven and Javi wanted. The two pledged they would help pay for it. Steven even got a job at Best Buy to help finance the jacuzzi.
As for my two new little servants, Max and Xavier. They started doing errands for me in exchange for access to the ramp. Which was nice that I didn't have to blow them each time. Jason didn't know about the deal I had made with them. I chose to keep it a secret from him, at least for now.
It was lunch time, when I decided to leave the shop. I left Jason and David in charge of the shop while I was gone. Since I didn't feel like eating out I decided to go to the house, where I knew there was still some left over pasta. I waited for the bus for a few minutes then hopped on. I still hadn't gotten around to buying a car, so the bus was still my main ride. Although Jason or Javi would give me rides.
I sat at the very back of the bus and to my surprise I saw Xavier sitting there with his headphones. His hood was covering his short hair. He noticed me when I sat down next to him.
He turned to me and removed his headphones, "Hey there, Dick," he said in his deep voice. Xavier wore a green plaid shirt with black skinny jeans.
"Where are you heading?" I said to him.
He looked out the window and said, "No where, just riding on the bus to clear my mind."
It was clear that there was something wrong. I wanted to tell him that maybe a blowjob would help. But I chose not to, instead I said, "Everything alright? Want to talk about it?"
He turned to me, "Maybe. I don't know. Where are you heading?"
"Home, to eat. Want to join me?"
He turned away from me again and looked out the window. There was a long pause from him before he finally answered, "Sure, if that's okay?"
"Of course, I'm the one that invited you."
When the bus came to my stop, the two of us got off and walked down the street. Then we reached the corner where the house was at. He looked up at it and said. "This is your house?"
"Yeah, me and three other roommates bought it."
"Nice."
We walked up to the porch and then entered the house. No one was home, both Steven and Jason were at work. While Javi was at the gym. We walked through the living room and made it to the kitchen. He sat down at the table while I began taking out the food.
As we ate, we began to talk about what his problem was. Which was his father threatening to kick him out. Xavier explained that after high school he took a year off to try to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. His father wasn't a fan of it but his mother was in his corner. But that year came and passed and he still didn't know what to do. So his father began to threaten to kick him out and was likely to go through with it. I knew how he felt to have parents with expectations. My parents didn't like that I was bisexual and haven't spoken to me since I came out. So I could relate to how he felt about disappointing his parents. I just wish I could help.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Xavier. I know a little something about parents who are disappointed. My parent's haven't spoken to me since I came out as bisexual."
"Really? That's messed up."
"I wish I can help you bud," Part of me wanted to tell him he could stay here if his dad kicks him out, but I'd have to ask the rest of the household for approval. I didn't know how long it would take for Xavier to find his purpose and find a place to live. I couldn't offer him a job since I had just taken Jason as a full employee.
"Thanks, I appreciate it. But I'll figure it out. I can't stay at Max's home, his parents are just as tough as mine wouldn't like me staying there for free."
I'm sure if I spoke with the guys, they'd be okay about him staying with us. Javi for sure would be cool with it. Maybe we can even help him find his purpose. That was something Xavier was in need, someone to help him. Max was a nice kid but he was basically a delinquent. Xavier wasn't. He was different, he clearly had a desire to do something he just couldn't find.
I finished my soda and said, "How about you stay here?"
He shook his head in disbelief, "No, I can't do that."
"I mean, it ain't the Ritz Carlton but it's better than sleeping in the streets."
"Yeah, but I mean..."
I interrupted him, "Let me talk it over with the guys and see if they are okay with it. There is a couch you can crash on. Maybe we can help you find your purpose."
"You'd really do that?" Xavier's eyes began to water.
I placed my hand on his shoulder, "Yeah, you're a good kid man. We'll help you."
