"Dude hurry up we are going to be late." The call came from the passenger window of my best friends car. Five of us were heading off on an 8 hour journey across the country for a festival. I was running down from my apartment and saw the packed car overflowing with beer and tents and more beer. I stuffed my belongings in the boot of the car and jumped in the back behind the passenger seat. Dave was driving as it was his car and he liked doing long distances, for some strange reason. In the front of me was Tony he was a large guy not fat by any means but bulky. Naturally we weren't going to squeeze in the back with him. Directly next to me was Paul he was a strange guy usually very quiet until he had a few beers then he was the life of the party. On the far side was Mike, a small guy but great fun to be around.
"Man I hope we beat this storm." Dave sighed from the front of the car as the sky swirled a dirty grey cloud above our heads "I hate driving in the rain." We set off down the road and had probably gone half an hour before the first rain drop hit the windshield. "Damn it better not rain all weekend." Tony grumbled from the front "forecast was for blue skys."
"We have 7 and half hours of driving left to do you big dope the weather will be fine at the campsite." Laughed Mike. An hour later and we were all settling into the drive. We had a few pillows and blankets in the back and it was pretty cosy I was struggling not too fall asleep. I leant forward to speak to Dave make sure he was ok and catch up on the game from last weekend. The rain hadn't let up and it was getting heavier. "Check the arse on her." Tony excitedly shouted from the passenger seat we all looked up to see a good looking young girl trying to hitch a lift. She was walking along in the rain with her hood up and a large rucksack. Still some distance away the tight jeans she was wearing showed her peach like butt and narrow hips off really well. "Pick her up Dave she can sit in my lap, poor girl shouldn't be out in the rain." I winked at the guys up front.
"There's no room dude." Dave said. Then as he passed her he laughed and slowed down.
"Ahh Dave you legend." I nudged him.
"Dont thank me just yet." He said close to laughter.
"What." I said before I looked up. She had arrived at the window to the car.
"Oh shit." said Mike from the other side. Tony was just laughing and Paul put up his hand and waved a hello.
"Thats a guy." I said to no one in particular as I looked at this young guy who had appeared at the window.
"Urgh yeah my names Euan." Came the reply from the window much to my embarrassment I hadnt realised Dave had put the window down. "You want a lift then buddy its a tight squeeze in the back but this friendly guy here said you can sit in his lap." Dave said pointing to me with a big grin on his face.
