Kat and Jay wandered through the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, marveling at the enormous, spectacularly blue Ishtar Gate built over 2,500 years ago. Despite the artifacts surrounding them, their minds were elsewhere--more specifically, on last night.
"We should get our story straight before we meet everyone tonight," Kat said.
"What do you mean?" Jay asked.
"Well, we got in yesterday afternoon. They might ask what we did. Did we go for a drink? Where'd we eat?"
Jay nodded. "We could say we stayed in. Or just found a nearby pub and went to bed early."
Kat paused, thoughtful. "Or...we could own it."
Jay raised an eyebrow, caught off guard. "What? Really?"
She smirked, a low flame of excitement flickering inside her. "Why not? It's not like we see them often. We haven't even seen them since our wedding."
The thought of being so open thrilled her unexpectedly. Maybe it was being surrounded by the museum's nude goddesses or more likely last night's lingering effect. The erotic tension between them had been simmering since they woke up, and the thrill of sharing their experience felt intoxicating. She wanted to take Jay right there in the museum, crowds be damned (or maybe welcomed).
For his part, Jay was barely holding it together. The events of last night still overwhelmed him; every woman that walked by was unimaginably sexy. He wondered if they too went to sex clubs. He tried to guess if they would be Kat's type. Was she checking them out too? He imagined grabbing Kat right there and kissing her deeply and not stopping. There was a bench over there they could use. No, that's crazy. But maybe they could find a storage room or empty corridor. Anything.

Tonight, they were reuniting with Yasemin, Ben, and Mia--friends from university. Yasemin had recently moved to Berlin, and Ben and Mia were driving up for a visit with their kids. The plan was to hang out at the hotel beer garden, which had a playground where the kids could run wild. Low-key, simple.
Kat snagged a round table beneath a big chestnut tree with a view of the playground, and Jay brought over two beers. "So... just to check. No BS story for last night, right?" Jay asked, half-teasing.
Kat smiled. "Nope. It's not a big deal. If it comes up, it comes up." Sex had never been discussed with these friends. They weren't prudes or anything she thought, it just never came up. But after last night's debauchery, just like after their experience in Mexico City, she had a strange urge to tell someone about their adventure.
Before they could really wrap up the topic, two kids exploded out the door racing for the playground. Jay and Kat had never met the kids yet, but it was obvious these were Ben and Mia's. Right on cue they came out behind, Ben apologizing to the other guests that the kids and been cooped up in a car for hours.
'Hey, great to see you guys again.' Ben said sitting down next to them with Mia. 'Yeah, it's been too long really. What, 3 years since?'.
Barely through the niceties, Yasemin came through the door and joined the table with a round of beers for everyone.
They'd all met at university, so they knew each other as long as Jay and Kat had. Yasemin was the first person Jay'd met in the new city and had a bit of a crush on her. She had also been witness to Jay chasing Kat, and Kat chasing Jay.
Ben and Mia were a beautiful couple they'd met there too. So beautiful in fact, they would get stopped and complimented in the street. Ben's eyes were a lighter shade of blue than Jay's and attracted at least as much attention as his. Mia was stunning with her generous smile.
'Wow, everyone looks great!' Ben declared punching Jay in the arm. He said it in a way you had to believe him.
The conversation flowed effortlessly, as if they hadn't been apart for more than a few days. Ben and Mia filled everyone in on parenting. Yasemin about her career success.
'So, how are you liking Berlin' Kat asked. Her and Jay loved the city and dreamed of moving there one day.
'I don't know yet, because of the restrictions I haven't had a chance to meet anyone. It's been ages since I danced because the clubs are still closed!' Yasemin replied, she used to be a competitive Salsa dancer, so the sting was real.
"Actually, some are open again," Kat said casually. "Me and Jay were out last night."
Yasemin's eyebrows shot up. "Really? Where?"
"Insomnia," Jay answered.
Yasemin blinked, clearly surprised. "Wait... Insomnia? That's not a salsa club."
"No," Kat admitted with a small grin. "It's a sex club."
The table fell silent for a beat before Mia leaned in, eyes wide. "A real sex club? What do people do there?"
