It's been a while since my last Stevie chapter, as I couldn't decide whether to make this chapter the final chapter but after several re-writes, I've come to the decision this will be the final chapter for Stevie. Hope you've enjoyed the series.
I'd like to dedicate this final chapter to Seraphina_Gypsy, she was and always will be the best thing to happen during my time on Lit. x
July 3rd
Taking a sip from her coffee, Stevie glanced out the window at the traffic passing by before turning and looking around the crowded coffee shop. She'd started to visit a new shop recently as she couldn't bring herself to look at Dane after what she and Kim had got up to in the back room the last time she'd visited.
This place was nice enough, made speciality coffees, had comfortable chairs and looked out on a crowded high street, Stevie loved nothing better than having a coffee and people watching.
Her mind was all over the place today though, a few days ago, Stevie, and a friend of hers, Jade, had ended up back at a house with the two bosses of Dream Pictures and they'd ended up sleeping with them. Stevie had enjoyed every second of it but she hadn't meant to drag her friend into this and she was worried what this would lead to for Jade. That night they'd been invited to a big party happening in two days and Jade hadn't stopped texting Stevie about it since.
In all honesty Stevie didn't want to go to the party, she'd had a lot of fun in the last few weeks and she was enjoying her new life but this party sounded like another level. She'd text Kim to see if she was going and whilst it was reassuring when she confirmed she would be there, it worried her more when Kim warned her, "it can get kinda wild."
Kinda wild for an everyday person might be someone getting drunk and throwing up in the pool, kinda wild for a pornstar like Kim, Stevie dreaded to think. This thought would make Stevie anxious enough but it was even worse because she'd dragged Jade into this, she had no idea what she was getting herself into.
Snapping out of her thoughts, back to reality, Stevie looked down at her phone as it vibrated on the table in front of her, seeing a message come through from Jade, as if she knew she'd been thinking about her.
Jade: What's the details then? Is it in the same place? What time do we need to get there? Is there a dress code? Come on bitch!
Stevie did know all the details, Dre had messaged her the day after but she'd kept them to herself, hoping that Jade would forget about it, but she knew her friend, she knew she wouldn't let it go. Sighing, finally accepting the inevitable she typed out her response, giving Jade one more hopeful chance.
Stevie: You sure about this Jade? It will probably be boring.
Instantly she saw the three dots as Jade quickly replied
Jade: Stop being a bore, we had an amazing night the other night, I wanna do it again!
Knowing there was nothing more she could do she finally succumbed to Jade's wishes.
Stevie: Party starts at seven tomorrow, it's at their place again and the dress code is "sluttier the better" get to my place for 6.30 and we'll go together OK
Jade: Yes bitch! Jade and Stevie night on the town part two, love you x
Stevie: I don't know you why I let you get me into these position, love you bitch x
Putting her phone back on the table and returning to her coffee, Stevie started to get the feeling, she was no longer the only person people watching. She could feel eyes on her, watching her. She glanced around the coffee shop and noticed two guys stood at the counter both looking in her direction and grinning as they did.
Trying to avoid their gaze Stevie tried to hide her face in her oversized coffee mug but it didn't help, as she noticed out the corner of her eye, as they started to walk over in her direction. Both white guys, dressed in suits, probably worked in the industry as they said, Stevie had seen enough of this movie exec kind of guys to last her a lifetime.
"Excuse me," she heard one of them say, still hiding her face and looking away hoping they were asking someone else but knowing they weren't.
A little louder and more insistent this time, "Excuse me, are you Stevie?"
Eyes widening at the sound of her name, Stevie looked up at them as the two guys stood over her, realising she should probably say something at this point, "Yeah, who's asking?"
One of the guys nudged his arm into the other as they both grinned, "See I told you!"
Still no wiser as to who they were Stevie sat there looking up at them waiting for them to say something, "Sorry to interrupt your coffee......it's just.....well.......er.........we're big fans!"
Stevie felt like her face was on fire, her cheeks turning as red as they ever have as the words he'd said drifted over her. She'd read lots of comments online about her videos but she'd never met someone in real life who had seen them, until now.
Quickly putting her cup down and grabbing for her phone and bag, she hastily stood up with the intention of leaving and never coming back to this coffee shop, she muttered a "thanks" as she stood but her exit route was blocked by the two guys as one asked, "Would you mind if we got a selfie?"
Cheeks still burning, her heart racing, she took a breath nodding her head and trying to muster a smile, "Er......I...er......sure."
Standing, almost frozen in place, she watched as one guy stood next to her, his arm sliding around her, the other took out his phone and moved to her other side, she looked at the small screen on the camera, her cheeks bright red, wearing no make-up, her hair a mess, she hadn't exactly expected to be on camera today.
