Olivia groaned as she struggled to roll out of bed and got to her feet, running her hands along her swollen middle with a huff as a kick struck her palm. "Oof well good morning to you too little man. You ooo ready to see your godmother today?" Her stomach let out a low growl as she tried to calm her passenger down and grab the cocoa butter from the bathroom.
The once lithe dancer had filled out considerably after getting knocked up at her first frat house Halloween party. Her toned legs had filled out, and her thighs widened. Her ass had practically doubled in size and her gut was always managing to turn heads. Thank God her tits had grown three cup sizes, or she would've considered the whole process a wash. The father kept pushing it must've been someone else's kid, and with her mom ecstatic to be a grandma, she atleast had some support, but more often than not she just felt like a massive whale. She became something of a recluse, but she'd promised her best friend she'd show up to her end of summer bash and she couldn't let Jazz down.
Throwing on a pair of leggings that were almost see-through across her widened cheeks, and a maternity top that barely covered her belly, she put on some make-up to get the bags out from under her eyes and hustled her way to the kitchen where she could hear her mom cooking. "Hey ma, you mmf that smells amazing~. You think you could take me to the party today? Jazz is busy prepping and I'm not trying to break the back supports on an Uber."
Her mother just beamed as she handed her glowing daughter a plate and pat her middle. "Oh of course sweetheart! Though I am going on a date tonight, so you'd have to find a ride back. Or stay with Jazz tonight, I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I just don't want you or my favorite little grandson in danger." She was beaming as Olivia mindlessly scarfed down her mini breakfast feast and burped into her hand with a weak smile.
"I'm sorry your daughter is such a pig. This should've never happened. I just. Ugh. I hate this!" She was hormonal, emotional, and eight months deep into a pregnancy she was not the least bit prepared for, but seeing her mom smile as she gave her a tight hug, seemed to take the stress away.
"Baby girl, when I was pregnant with you, I thought I was the size of the Goodyear blimp. I was giving people clearance three aisles away at the grocery store and you better believe I didn't want to go outside. Thank God your father couldn't get enough of my baby bump, or I'd feel like the ugliest sow in the world."
"Ugh mom gross, I don't need to know about," Olivia's protest was quickly stopped by her mom's finger against her lips.
"I'm saying it's in your head. You're so brave for bringing a new life into this world and you're not doing it alone. You have me, your friends, your family, and God willing, that little boy is gonna want for nothing! You just need to give yourself some grace. You find me a pregnant woman that didn't pig out from time to time and I'll show you a damn liar. Now, get in the car and I'll take you over alright? I love you sweetie, you're doing a great job." Her mother gave her a soft kiss on the forehead and one last pat on her belly before turning to turn the stove off and put whatever leftovers away she could find.
"I love you too mom, and thank you. I, I really needed to hear that." Her eyes began to well as she wiped the tears away with her arm and tried to hustle her way to the garage. Of course her dad helped her mom with her urges, but she didn't have such a luxury. She was pent up and no guy was interested in the baggage of dicking down a girl growing gloriously gravid. Most were afraid they'd break her water and the weaker men were afraid she'd break them. So she sat in the car, frustrated and swiping through any matches that looked like a prospective ride home that wouldn't end up with her getting a 6 part Netflix documentary about her disappearance.
When they pulled up to the house and Liv managed to shimmy herself out of the car, Jazz's joy filled shriek filled the block. "Girl! Oh my God! I have missed you!" The taller Nubian queen rushed over to her best friend and her eyes were alight as she waved to Olivia's mom before adoringly planting her hands on her friend's belly in a mix of awe and jealousy. "Ugh look at you! You are glowing! You're making my womb ache I hope you know that. Dantes's gonna have to be careful I don't jump him so we can bump bellies! How's my god baby doing? How are you doing sweetness? God I'd missed you so much!" Jasmine was always a lot, but Liv appreciated how much her friend genuinely cared and when She saw Jasmine's beautiful green eyes get all misty, she was starting to sniffle herself.
"I'm sorry, I should've been more social. I just. I feel like this fat whale and I didn't want to bring you guys down. You're out there learning how to heal the world and fighting tooth and nail to be somebody and I spread my legs at a frat party as a black Harley Quinn and now look at me. I'm making Amanda Waller look like she's on Weight Watchers. But, baby boys doing great, he's hitting all his benchmarks and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to meet the little guy." She rubbed the flanks of her belly as it rumbled against Jazz's hands and she couldn't help laughing.
