Thank you for reading my story, I hope that you enjoy it, Mica xx Yorkshire England
I drove down the track and parked in the farm entrance opposite the bus stop. Jacob's farm as I now knew it to be. The bus was never exactly to schedule out here in the middle of nowhere, so I always got there a little ahead of time, especially in wet weather, but as it happened today was dry. The bus pulled up about five minutes late, so not too long a wait. I got out and greeted and hugged John as he came from around the back of the bus.
"Hello stranger," I said, my lips hovering near his.
"It's been ages," he said as his lips closed the distance and we made proper contact. The embrace was warm, and I wondered what he would make of the changes. I hadn't told him that I now owned the cottage. He put his bag on the back seat and then got into the front passenger seat and put his seatbelt on before winding his window all the way down.
"I love the smell of the country air Meesh," he said as we trundled at a reasonable 10mph along the track to my cottage, I could go faster, but then I wouldn't be able to stop if any wild creature appeared in front, or control a slip on wet or dewy days. Anyway, what's the hurry? Time moves differently around here.
I pulled up at the cottage and then reversed around to the side. John got out and grabbed his bag.
"Something looks different," he said.
"Come on in, let's get a cup of tea and then we can go and sit out back by the beck."
"Okay," he said. I let him walk through the door first.
"Wow. It's all different."
"Yes. The cottage changed hands, and the new owner has made a few changes."
"A proper cooker, I see, and I noticed the downstairs loo had changed and had a washbasin too, that must have been interesting logistics."
"I guess, that was probably down to a plumber. The Electrics have been redone, there is a new fuse box or what ever you call it. Apparently the regulations changed a few months ago, and the owner decided to sell rather than make all the changes for something that hardly ever got let. Apparently it was mostly me that rented."
"Lucky you, lucky that the new owner still lets you stay."
"Well I could hardly say no to me could I?"
He looked at me and then roared in laughter. "You? You bought it."
"Yes. It is difficult to let as it has no mains water, or gas, or sewage, and poor WiFi, so he decided to sell. We negotiated a price, less than I expected, and that gave me some funds to do the works. The only difficulty is getting deliveries, most companies won't drive up my track and will only deliver to the end. Luckily I have met the local farmer, Jacob, and he is quite helpful, he will put stuff on his trailer and bring it up here if I need."
"Wow, you have been busy."
"Well Mik helped with a lot, and he will come up here occasionally, it will be brilliant when he wants to do some Uni work, so few distractions." I knew that to be absolutely untrue.
"I think it looks fab, well done you, and good job on keeping the secret."
"It wasn't easy, I have so wanted to get you up here, but I wanted to get it finished first, and make sure everything worked. Right, I'll put the kettle on. You can have a wander round if you like whilst it boils. Tea I assume, English or Lapsang?"
"Okay, yes, oh, tea, whatever you're having." He wandered off, had a closer look at the downstairs loo, and then into the front room. A little later as I was getting the milk from the fridge, I heard him walking around upstairs. He came back down as I finished the tea.
"You have done a brilliant job, well done. You have mixed the new and the old very well, a real fusion of practicality and old charm."
"Thank you, that is exactly what I wanted to do. Grab your tea, and let's go and sit by the beck."
We grabbed our teas and went out to the back and sat on the chairs by the beck.
"Good afternoon Elvina, Good afternoon Fay," I said, "this is my good friend John."
John looked at me as if I were mad. The air above the beck shimmied and Fay appeared, her clothing defying science and gravity as always. And then Elvina emerged flying around John and then me. John looked at me, his mouth open.
"Is this a trick?" He asked, "some new techie thing you have hidden in the ground."
"No John, this is no trick."
"But what?"
"Well you remember me telling you of the Cottingley Faeries? You didn't believe me, I know you didn't, well Elvina and Fay are their cousins. Now tell me that you don't believe me."
"Hello John," Fay said as she flew around him and then darted in and kissed him on his lips.
"John tastes good Elvina," Fay said as she flew to me and kissed me hard on my lips, her hand fleetingly up my dress, Elvina was making herself at home on John's Lap. Fay was flying around my face, darting her groin towards my lips, my, her aroma, it was intoxicating, it was as if it were Arabian OUD mixed with English Lavender, and how she managed to fly with her legs either side of my head and her fanny in my face was beyond me.
Eventually the girls left us be and shimmered away to their own realm. John turned to me, his face wet with the juices of Elvina and his dick soft in his lap.
"Just what the actual?" He said, looking a little shell shocked.
"Let's go in and have another cup of Tea J," I said, standing and heading into the house.
John would be a moment longer as he had some decorum to re-establish. I didn't mind, he could walk around naked for all I cared. I filled the kettle and turned it on, I supposed I ought to light the AGA, but with the electric shower for washing ourselves, the only thing I needed hot water for was for washing up, and I could do that with the kettle.
John came in just as I was pouring the hot water into the mugs. I smiled at him and we took our Teas to the sofa in the front room.
"I don't get it." He said as he sat down almost spilling his tea before leaning over and putting it on the side table, and then sinking into the sofa. "How come no one knows about them?"
"They are very secretive. If they didn't want you to see them, you wouldn't."
"Why are they so, er, sexual?"
"Aren't we? Why shouldn't they be?"
"Will they bother us in the house?"
"No, not unless we ask them to. They seem to relish sexual contact, but prefer it on their turf, that is to say outdoors. They have come indoors, but there is a lot of iron in houses, and they don't like iron."
"Oh. Okay. Just wow really, I honestly thought that they were mythical."
"Indeed so do most people, but I didn't, I had seen them at Cottingley, I knew they were real. I also know that you don't want to cross them."
"What happens if you do?"
"I don't know, and I don't want to find out."
"Okay. Have you got any glad rags with you?"
"In terms of what?"
