As I walk up these steps, all I can think about is how could I be defeated so easily??? By a human no less!

wait!

He said he was something demonic. Did he mean a demon? I thought to myself. What's worse is I let him have his way with me. How could I give in to such a perverse urge?

I failed my first mission that Lord Argus tasked me with. I was supposed to be his best warrior. And I utterly failed.

The sun was barely peeking through the horizon and my exposed skin started to burn. I quickly ran up the remaining flight of stairs and headed into the mansion.

Once there I was greeted by my fellow house members. Adrian, one of the bravest and most loyal members met me by the door.

"How did it go?"

I could do nothing but look down to the ground in shame. I muttered, "I have failed."

Adrian then asked, "what happened to your clothing?"

"I'd rather not say."

As I walked past my fellow members and climbed up the stairs, my thoughts turned to him. Those dimly lit red eyes. What was he? Could he really be a demon? If so, why did he show me mercy? At the top of the stairs, Lucas, Lord Argus's body guard was waiting for me.

"The Lord wishes to speak to you regarding your mission."

In that moment my heart began to sink. How do I explain to him that his second in command Bruce was defeated and killed by a human? Would he believe me if I told him that the human was actually a demon? There was no avoiding it. Argus was going to find out about my failure sooner or later.

I followed Lucas to the main hall. There Argus was waiting for me. Argus stared at me with a cold steely gaze. He then looked at Lucas and said, "you may leave now."

"Yes my lord."

Then Argus's attention turned back to me. For about 30 seconds there was nothing but silence. I could do nothing but look back and wait.

"What of your mission Alisa?"

"I have failed you my lord. Bruce died at the hands of a Human and I was not able to take vengeance upon him."

Then there was silence once again. A moment later, Argus asked, "what of the human now?"

"Still alive and unscathed. He also knows of our existence."

"And what of Bruce's body?"

" Ash," I replied.

"And what of your original clothing?"

I thought to myself, must i answer that question? I was too embarrassed to respond with what had actually happened. All I could do is look down in shame.

"So he had his way with you, in exchange for your life,right?"

My face turned beet-red. It was too embarrassing. Then in a thunderous roar, Argus yelled,"FAILURE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!"

My heart stopped in fear.

" That human knows of our existence and has already killed my brother as a result!?!"

I could not move. I was shuddering in fear.

"Tell me Alisa, how could a mere human simply overpower a vampire?" Argus asked.

In a whimper, I replied,"he said he was demonic...."

Argus's eyes grew wide.

Intently staring at me.

"What else did he say?" Argus asked.

I did not know what else to say. Then I remembered the silver knife he gave me. I took it out of my pocket and presented it to my Lord.

"What is this?"

I replied, "he said it was from the vampire hunts from long ago."

He grabbed the knife from my palms and proceeded to look at it intently. His eyes carefully studying the carvings and symbols on the knife. Then Argus's focus returned to me. He then quietly said:

"You may go now."

I slowly took a step back and walked towards the hall door. As I opened the door, Argus called Lucas in. When the door closed behind me, I could hear Argus go off into a tirade.

My Lord was yelling at Lucas even though it wasn't his fault. But then he has always been the target of Argus' outbursts. I stood outside the main hall's door and listened in. I could here Argus saying," that man has been making a mockery of me!"

"How do you know its him?"

"Because of this!",responded Argus.

I then heard a loud clank. Something metallic hitting the floor. I did not want to hear anymore. So I headed to my quarters.

Once I arrived in my quarters, my thoughts immediately turned to him. That demonic human had his way with me, and I let him! His warm hand groping my breast last night. The thought began to excite me. His scent was on the clothing he gave me. I began to relive that encounter. My body was starting to become warm with lust.

What is going??? I said to myself.

The sun was beginning to rise.

But knowing how persistent old man vamp is, I doubt he was going to give up. As I held the vamp chick's clothing I could feel a dark presence emerging behind me. I knew exactly who it was.

"I see you are playing with the House of Rusteal again....

Drake."

The dark presence said.

"Well it really wasn't my choice.They have been looking for me since the hunts ended."

I turned around to see her.

Pyrin.

AKA the Grim Reaper, Momma death herself.

"What brings you here?"

"Abalos City is going through a murderous crime wave. You are going to have to collect the souls of those who will die soon Drake"

"FUCK," I said. "Not again!

Last time I did this, I was being shot at by Nazis!?!"

"Well whose fault is that???" she responded.

"Yours! You were the one who told me to join the army," I said. "That it would be easier to collect souls."

"Well wasn't it?"

"Fuck No!" I responded. "Running around with a scythe in the middle of gun fire is not easy."

" Either way, your powers have matured since, this task will probably be much easier now," she said.

I then slowly walked up to her and placed my right hand on her inhumanly ghostly and extremely pale face.

"Well,if I do decide to do this,

do I at least get a reward?"

As I said this, I had slowly been moving my other hand to her left tit.

She then stuck out her arm and in a plume of black smoke she summoned her scythe. Then just as fast she stabbed me through my chest from behind and lunged me 50 feet in the air. (kinda like a lacrosse player).

I fell face first. Pyrin then rolled me over with her foot and held me down with the same foot on my newly acquired wound. I grunted in pain.

"Look Drake,there is a new war overseas. I must attend to make sure there are no lost souls."

"Alright, alright, I'll do it.

At least I already got a preview of what I want."

She then realized the whole time I was laying on the ground, I had been staring up her black dress.

"I see that you are still hot blooded as ever," she said.

"Yeah I know."

Pyrin then helped me up as my wound quickly closed up. I then realized that there was still much of my blood up here. I told Pyrin to hold on, that I needed to take care of something.

She let me go as I got to my feet and stepped back. I placed both of my palms together as if I was to pray and started chanting in a demonic language:

"Nefim Arbak Foi"

My blood stains suddenly became engulfed in a crimson dark flame.

"I see you are learning demon magic," said Pyrin.

"Well it makes it much easier to clean up," I responded.

"It might be useful when collecting those souls that you want. But don't use it too much," she responded.

"I can't have them becoming corrupted."

As I began to lose balance, she held me and helped me down stairs. As we walked to my apartment, my landlord Mario happened to walk by and in a thick Italian accent says, "oh I see you are into the strange ones",

chuckling.

"Well what can I say?", I replied. "I like a challenge."

Little did he know that we were talking about death herself.

Pyrin went ahead and punched me in the gut as soon as Mario left. Fump! Huuuhg.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"To keep you in line."

Once I recovered from that strike, we continued to my apartment. I then opened my apartment door and proceeded to walk inside.

Pyrin decided to stay in the doorway. I glanced back at her and focused on her cleavage. Man, I thought to myself. Those must be the palest pair tits I have ever seen!

While I was still staring, she said,

"You should have killed her."

My eyes focused back to her face.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

" That vampire that was here last night," she replied. "The members of the house are going to make your task much harder."

"I'll just fuck them up when the time comes," I responded. "Either way, I couldn't go through with it if I had wanted too, especially when she started to cry..."
