I do apologize for the long wait on this chapter. I got a little distracted with life. You know how that goes. I tried to make this chapter a bit steamier and longer to make up for the missed time. I hope you enjoy please vote and comment. I read them all.

"You speak? There is no record of your kind doing so before now." Sienna said to the tygerwud her voice laced with awe.
"None of your kind has ever bothered to ask." Baring her teeth with a growl she quickly responded.
"That may have been hard to do when one is being ripped to shreds!"
"Nor did mine have a chance to do so after being mercilessly hunt for being as you said 'mindless beast who will tear you apart without blinking and eye.' We hunt for food and to survive, yet YOUR kind are the ones who hunt to sell our pelts and glands for profit or try to break us so that you can enslave us, keep us as pet." She spat out the word pets as if it left a bad taste in her mouth. "Better we get you before yours destroy us all."
"It would not have been so had you made your intelligence known."
"So it is alright to hunt us so long as we are 'mindless beast'? Do you truly believe it would be different if your kind knew we could think for ourselves? Don't be so naive fae, your thoughts are as flawed as the rest of your kind. There was a time when your kind did know and were trusted by mine. It made no difference, that trust was betrayed and many of mine were slaughtered for this. Which is why we do not bother to reveal our true selves to other fae as you have proven yourselves NOT to be trust worthy." Turning her attention back to Dillon "You, on the other hand, are the Chosen. Your coming has been for told to us for many centuries among my kind. I apologize for the wounds and fear that has been inflicted upon you. That was not our intent." Dillon felt a wave of dizziness hit him. He tried shaking his head to bring his blurred vision back into focus on the giant feline.
"You must be feeling the effects of the poison from my claws now. I tried to retract the poison, it was not meant for you," With that she looked at Sienna then to Dillon. "When we collided but apparently not enough. Please, allow me to cleanse the wounds. Along with helping to speed the healing process, the saliva of the tygerwud has a natural antigen that counteracts the effect of the poison. A natural protectant the Fates gifted us for when we fight each other. It is either that or die. Your choice?" She stated in a very blasΓ© tone.
"Well, uhmm, I have no intention of dying today, do what you must." Dillon said wavering on his feet.
The tygerwud stood once again and approached Dillon slowly. When she stood near enough for Dillon to feel her breath on his face she bent her head to the side and began to lick the wounds she had inflicted on his arm, coating them liberally with her saliva. When she completed the one arm she started on the other giving it the same attention as the other. To him her tongue felt warm and ruff, like that of the cats in the earth realm only on a much larger scale. He started to feel a tingle at the point where each mark was made on both of his arms, and right before his eyes the flesh knitted itself back together. She stepped away from him.
"Chosen, You must come with us now. The saliva has stopped the poison but you will still feel some after affects. You will need your rest and soon but my queen will want to meet you." And began to walk away not waiting for a reply. Then she stopped angling her head to look back at Dillon. "Your little group of friends may come as well, we have no intention of hurting you but if the fae female insist on attacking, we will not hesitate to destroy her." Said the tygerwud female. Dillon looked quickly over to where Sienna had landed after he had pushed her out of the way and found that she was easing her hand over the bow that had landed within reach of where she had.
Using the last bit of strength he could muster, "Sienna, enough is enough!" His voice brokering no argument, and Sienna stopped the movement and Dillon again met the eyes of the Tygerwud which was quite easy as she stood near his height of 6'3 at 6' feet high if he were to guess. "Madam, what is your purpose here with me? Why do you call me Chosen?"
"All will be revealed shortly we must return to the pride first." Speaking to her pride mates she said "Gather his gear and the other. The fae can move of her own will." The other tygerwud moved to do her bidding carefully putting the little nymph that Dillon had previously carried but not yet awakened from when she had passed out earlier, onto the back of one of the tygerwuds. Dillon shakily took a step to follow the leader of the group of tygerwuds, his vision still a bit blurry, but his knees quickly gave out on him. Sienna rushed over to his side.
"What did you do to him?!" She screamed.
"I healed him. It was your rash actions that caused the need in the first place. As I said, he is still feeling the after effects of the poison and it has weakened him." Dillon slumped over in Sienna's arms and for the second time in less than 24 hours passed out.
