Never in a million years did it cross Sara's mind that anything like this would have happened today. She was a normal, middle-class woman in a very normal neighbourhood where nothing interesting ever happened, and everyone liked it that way. There was always gossip to be had about who had done what, and who might have been sleeping with who, but nothing was ever confirmed, and all the rumours seemed to die down after a few days, replaced by a new set of who had done what. That was how Sara liked it, that was how it was in her little suburb, at least until today. Today was where her entire world had changed in less than 20 minutes.
Her son, Sam, had just come back from college, he'd graduated with a fantastic degree in psychology and was applying to do a masters elsewhere, and in the meantime, he'd come home to be with his parents. Sara and her husband loved having him back in the house, of course they wanted him to continue with his studies and flourish out into the world on his own, but having their little boy back in the nest with them was fantastic. However, in the time he'd been away, it was clear Sam wasn't their
little
boy anymore. While he'd obviously grown up prior to going off to college, it seemed Sam had flourished and found himself a lot more there, now having an extensive network of friends across the country and seemingly becoming something of a heartthrob as well; never a week went by where another woman would be seen fawning over him as they headed up to his bedroom. It wasn't long before the women moved from women of his age to some slightly older women, and after a while the women were approaching Sara's own age.
This was not a concern of Sara's initially, in fact, her and her husband talked about it and despite the fact she'd never sleep with a younger man, she understood that if their sex life had been completely dead, then she might do that. Thankfully, her sex life wasn't dead, and her husband, Colin, could do a lot to make her happy. However, as much as she'd never admit it, the idea of a younger man did crop up in her head every now and then, mostly in the moments where Colin might have been showing his age a little, she would think about her son and the noises of pleasure from the older married women he seemed to be pleasing incredibly well.
All that to say, while things were different with her son home, what happened today was something she have never saw coming.

It was an incredibly normal day, slightly cloudy outside with the chance of rain, a perfect opportunity to get a lot of the housework done. She worked part-time as an accountant in a small legal firm, and with today being a weekday her Colin was working, she used it to get jobs in the house done with as little interference as possible, and so was dressed in her housework gear, a pair of jeans that were tight around her sizable rear, and a white t-shirt with no bra underneath for maximum comfort and movement.
She knew Sam was home, but he was doing some university application for his masters today; that was what he said, she knew he played games and watch YouTube a lot of the time, but he did enough work to keep them satisfied, so why bother making him do more than he wanted. He'd come down for lunch a little bit ago, and so when he wandered into the kitchen, she didn't assume anything was wrong.
"Hey Mom," Sam said, walking up to the kitchen island behind her.
"Hey honey," she replied, just finishing up the last bits of washing up she was doing. "How's the applications going?"
"Well enough, all the personal statements are just annoying, that's basically what I've been doing all day."
"Well, they have to be done I guess," She didn't push any further,
"I guess." She sensed him move behind her in the room, almost waiting to get to the sink.
"I'll be done in a second, then I'll be out of your way." She reached into the water and pulled the plug, the water in the sink draining as she moved back towards the kitchen island and grabbed a hand towel, drying her hands.
It was then that Sam moved in and gently hugged her from behind, his arms wrapping around her stomach,
"I love you mom." He said, making her smile,
"And what have I done to get this kind of affection?"
"Nothing, I just... I don't think I say it enough." She smiled. Ever since he'd come back from college, Sam had been a lot more affectionate. He'd been telling her he loved his mother and hugging her more than he ever had before. Now, this hug was nothing unusual, unexpected in the moment, but nothing he hadn't done before.
"Well, it's always nice to hear." Sara said, putting a hand on his and enjoying the moment. He then gave her a small kiss on the cheek, and she laughed, "Well don't I feel lucky."
"I just... I want you to know I do love you." He said, seemingly a little nervous, though hiding it quite well. As he said that, his hands slowly moved along her curves to her hips; again, nothing too unusual, but unexpected in the moment.
