"HAPPY BIIIRRRTHHHDAYYYYY!" yelled Jason and Jamie's parents and their two friends as they sat around their dining room table, staring at a big sheet cake. Their dad, keen on embarrassing them in front of their friends, started to sing an embellished version of the song happy birthday before their mother quietly put her hand on his and shushed him. Jason and Jamie's faces reddened a bit at this outburst, but quickly recovered.
"I can't believe my babies are turning into full-grown adults!" their mother gushed as she began to slice up the cake that had had "Happy 18th Birthday!" scrawled across it in frosting. She passed out big pieces to everyone at the table and turned to Jason's friend, Nick. "Would you like to go first in giving Jason his gift, Nick?" she asked.
"Sure!" Nick replied, a little too enthusiastically for Jason's taste. Nick lifted a small box from the floor beneath his chair and slid it across the table to his friend. Jason eyed Nick as he did so, noticing the smirk on his face the entire way.
Jason tore at the wrapping paper to reveal a nondescript box beneath, which he promptly opened. Inside was a base of tissue paper with a gift card envelope sitting on top. He grabbed the gift card and looked at it, noting the store and dollar value.
"Hey, thanks, man! This is awesome! I appreciate it!" Jason exclaimed and smiled at his friend.
"Hey, you're welcome!" Nick replied. "Oh, don't forget the other part of the gift below the paper," he said slyly.
The smile faded from Jason's face as everyone at the table watched him intently. He carefully lifted the tissue paper to reveal what was beneath it and quickly slammed the paper back into the box. "Jesus, Nick!" he chided his friend.
"What is it, dear?" Jason's mother asked.
"Yeah, Twinner, lemme see!" his sister Jaimie followed up. She and her friend Kylee were grinning ear to ear at the other end of the table.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it," Jason said quickly as he tried to put the box away.
Before he could grab the box, Jamie snatched it away from him and tossed the tissue paper aside. Her grin turned into a full open-mouthed gaping smile and her eyes widened as she pulled out a box of condoms, presenting them for everyone to see.
Jason and Jamie's dad started laughing as their mother sighed, looking knowingly at Nick. Nick, for his part, was smiling ear to ear, and Jason's face was beet red.
"Okay, that's enough," their mother said. "Jamie, put those away and give them back to your brother. And Jason," she stopped and looked at him. "I trust that if you'd like to use one of those, you'll do so discreetly. Your father and I are okay with sex, but we just don't need to know when you're doing it."
Jamie's hand flew to her mouth to stifle her laugh. Jason's face turned even redder. "Jesus, ma," was all he could say. Jamie put the condoms back in the box and slid it back across the table. Jason quickly put the box on the floor and kicked his friend under the table to stop him from laughing.
"Ooof!" Nick retorted from the kick. "It's okay, Mrs. Tate. Jason's more likely to use them to keep clean up with himself easier, than with an actual girl. Isn't that right, Jase?" he asked as he turned to smile at his friend. That earned him another kick under the table from his friend.
"Alright, boys," their father said. "Kylee, why don't you give Jamie your gift? And let's hope it's not as salacious as Nick's."
"No, sir, not at all!" Kylee responded. She handed Jamie a small box, which Jamie promptly opened. Inside was a charm bracelet and a gift card to a store.
"Thanks, babe! I love it!" said Jamie. They hugged quickly and then Kylee helped Jamie put the bracelet on.
They table delved into quiet as they all dug into their pieces of cake. When they had finished, Nick spoke up first.
"Anyone care for a game of pool downstairs?" he asked. "Guys against girls?"
Jason, Jamie, and Kylee all looked at each other, and almost in unison, said "Sure!"
Their mother began to clear the table as they all got up. "Keep it shorter, please," she said. "Everyone needs to be out in an hour."
"Yes, Mrs. Tate," Nick and Kylee said in unison. The two siblings and their friends then hustled down to the basement to set up the game of pool. At the bottom of the stairs, Jason diverted quickly to his bedroom to deposit the box of birthday gifts on his desk before joining the rest.
The Tate's had set up their basement as a teenage hangout space as the kids had gotten older. With Jason and Jamie being twins, they wanted a safe and somewhat private space for them and their friends to go without feeling watched. Even though they were turning eighteen, they would both be starting their senior year of high school in a couple of weeks. With late summer birthdays, their parents had held them back a year, making them two of the older kids in their class. Which made them somewhat of natural leaders when it came to picking who's house to hang out with friends.
The recreation room of the basement was set up with a pool table, dart board, wet bar with a refrigerator full of soda, and a TV area with couch and loveseat. On the other side of the basement was Jason's bedroom and next to that was a bathroom with a shower for him.
Nick set up a game of nine-ball on the pool table and handed cues to everyone before taking one himself and chalking up. He broke the rack and they all took turns taking their first shots.
Nine-ball was an easy game to follow. You simply had to sink each of the numbered balls in succession, starting with the one ball and ending with the nine. The only catch was you had to call your shot before each turn. They took turns based on teams. Nick had gone first, then Jamie went, then Jason, and then Kylee. Whichever person was successful in sinking the nine ball at the end meant that their team had won.
It took a little bit for each of them to find their groove. After a few rounds, Kylee got on a hot streak and was lining up a tougher shot on the eight ball. If she made it, she would have a slam dunk shot on the nine, clinching the game for the girls. As she bent over the pool table to line up her shot, Jason quietly came up behind her, within arms reach. Just as she was about to take the shot, pulling her cue back, Jason reached out and grabbed her ass, digging his middle finger as far into her crack as he could.
Kylee's cue nicked the cue ball as she jumped and yelped in response to Jason's fingers probing her ass through her jeans.
"You fucker!" she yelled as she whirled around to face him. Jason and Nick burst out laughing. Even Jamie was giggling to herself. "I get to take that one again, asshole!"
Jason, in between laughs, replied, "Yeah, I guess that's fair."
Kylee replaced the cue ball where it had been on the table and chalked up her cue again. "Hope you enjoyed that," she said. "Must feel nice to grab a girl's ass."
