Since I had a lot of fun with my previous contest, I decided to throw my hat in once more. This is my entry to the 2024 Halloween Contest. I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a themed story based on my favorite holiday. Even though this is listed as an incest story, there is a heavy dosage of paranormal influences as well as some mild horror elements; Keeping in spirit with Halloween, of course.
That said, I'm quite proud of this story and I hope you feel the same way about this too. Be sure to check out the contest page as there are some truly excellent stories on the docket this year!
As always, all participants in this story are over the age of 18. Any names used are purely coincidental and do not reflect any person, living or dead.
A big thanks to Todger65 for his editing prowess, like always!

Halloween was always the favorite holiday for Noah Swenson. The decorations. The candy. The scary movies. And, of course, the costumes. Screw everyone who says that Thanksgiving or Christmas are the best, Spooky Season is where it's at!
However, this year, he just couldn't seem to get into the holiday spirit. Any other year, he'd head out with his girlfriend to go and celebrate at a couple of different places, but this year, there was no girlfriend; Not after they had broken up a few months back.
So now, here he was the Thursday before the Halloween weekend, sitting in his apartment, mulling how he was going to spend the weekend. He considered just putting on a cheap vampire costume, complete with fake teeth and a cape, before heading to a bar and, hopefully, get laid.
As he sat on the couch watching 'Get Out' on TV, his phone buzzed to life. He grabbed the phone and saw that it was his sister, Kayla.
"Hello Kayla. To what do I owe this pleasure?" He spoke with a faux-British accent.
She giggled. "Sounds like you're having fun right now. You're usually pumped that it's Halloween."
"Yeah, kind of a downer this year, since I'm single for the first time in about 6 years." Noah mused.
Kayla hummed in affirmation. "I hear that. I'm still sort of picking myself up off the ground after leaving Chad's worthless ass."
At 32 years old, she was three years older than Noah. Growing up, the two were fairly close. Kayla was instrumental in helping Noah meet his first girlfriend back in high school. Thanks to her advice and pointers, they would often times spend their free time hanging out with each other if none of their friends were free.
She had just moved to town a few months ago after a particularly messy break-up from her ex-boyfriend. Much like her brother, she had jet black hair and blue eyes. Ever since she moved to town, Noah was over at her house almost every week, just to hang out since he didn't really have too many friends, and to make up for all the lost time they were apart after she left for college back when they were younger.
Kayla asked her brother a question. "Say, got a minute?"
"I do. What's up?" Noah had her full attention.
Kayla began her sales pitch. "So seeing as how neither of us have anything planned for this weekend, or any dates for that matter; I was thinking you and I can try and win a costume contest for best dressed couple at a couple of places that I had in mind."
"You must be joking, right?" Noah laughed.
She seemed offended by his remark. "Nooooah, c'mon! We're going to have a lot of fun! Besides, I know how much you love dressing up and I have just the costume for us."
He felt obligated to hear her out. "Alright, I'll bite. What is your costume idea?"
"It's Aladdin and Princess Jasmine." She giggled.
Noah leaned forward and placed his hand on his forehead. "I'm sorry but what?"
"I didn't stutter, Noah. I'll dress as Princess Jasmine and you'll go as Aladdin." She said in a matter-of-fact voice.
He laughed out loud. "Kayla, you've got to be joking. You want us to dress up as a couple of Disney characters?"
"Umm...yeah! C'mon Noah. Even if we don't end up winning, it's sure as hell better than being cooped up in your apartment during your favorite holiday. We'll go out, have a few drinks and, hey, I'll even be your wingman." She said cheerfully.
Noah's eyes became wide. "Woah, you'd do that for me?"
"Of course, I would. That's what big sisters are for after all." Kayla giggled.
"Okay, you've got yourself a deal. Plus, I can even be YOUR wingman if you're looking to hook-up with someone."
"Eh, sure. But really I just want to go out, unwind and just have a good time. Plus, you'll keep any creeps who might be interested in me at bay."
They planned on meeting at her house at 6:30pm the following day to change before heading out together. The last time they had dressed up for Halloween together was when the two were in elementary school. Noah was in first grade and dressed up as Spiderman, while his older sister went as Tinkerbelle, complete with a gaudy blonde wig that their mother had to style to match that of the aforementioned character.

After he hung up his phone, he headed to the grocery to do his weekly shopping. As Noah exited the store, he saw there was a canopy in the parking lot that he didn't recall being there before. This stall in particular seemed like something you'd see at a Renaissance Festival, with ornate decorations and wind chimes hanging from the red-clothed ceiling. A wooden sign was hanging from the ceiling that simply said "Te Bis."
On the table were items that can only be described as "New Age." Everything from crystals, earrings, dresses, and even household decor.
The woman sitting behind the table, looked to be about in her early 50s with an olive complexion. Her black hair was done up in a braid that circled around her head. She was dressed as your stereotypical hippie. She wore an old Grateful Dead Tye-Dye t-shirt and a long green skirt with strapped sandals. There were countless rings on both of her hands and she wore a pair of rounded transparent sunglasses on her face that looked like they belonged to John Lennon.
"What the hell, it's Halloween. Might as well check it out."
He shrugged to himself as he placed his groceries into the trunk of his car then walked over to the stand.
Noah walked up to the stand and looked at everything in front of him. "Nice set up you have here!"
