"Ava, come out before you force me to come get you." I was outside Ava's room in our family's home. Our parents were not home at the moment, they had gone on a couple's trip for a long weekend. We hadn't seen each other since we got back from New York. We had chosen to implement the use of the app Ezra had suggested. It did help us to feel connected while we were separated. Still, I hadn't been with her physically in nearly two weeks. I had promised to pick her up last night after work. Unfortunately, I had fallen asleep on the couch before getting her.
When I woke up the first thing I did, was rush over to get her.
Ava could walk to her college from the house so she had opted not to purchase her own car just yet. In our current relationship I like her not having a vehicle because she would rely on me. When she was at my house with me, I had the control over where she went, and when. It was only times like this that I cursed her responsible decision.
"No! I'm not going; you forgot about me!" She cried on the other side of the door. I could see her adorable pout. Ava may be being difficult but I knew in my gut she didn't want me to leave without her. She was just trying to 'teach me a lesson.' I was going to make sure that she remembered who made the rules here.
"This is your last chance, Ava. You can come out and get in the car right now and you won't garner further punishment. I will give you till the count of ten. If I reach ten, you will be in for it."
"Go home, I'm not going anywhere with you."
"one... two..."
"Aiden, that's not fair. You are the one that forgot about me."
"four... five... six..."
"The door is locked Aiden; you can't do anything."
"Ten... OK Ava, I'll be going home. I will be back when Mom and Dad can unlock the door for me. Then they can see your punishment as well." I started walking away. I was barely ten steps away when I heard the door lock click and Ava rushing out.
"No...Aiden, don't." I turned around swiftly and grabbed her before she could escape me. I pushed her back into her room. She tried to fight sensing that she was in trouble. My grip was too strong for her to get away. She continued fighting against me as I pinned her check to the bed.
"Ava, stop this instant, or I will tie you down." I threatened. She huffed in defeat and stopped. I took it as a sign of her surrender and pulled down her bottoms to reveal her bare ass. I landed six strikes on her bare ass, hard, three times on each cheek. I started explaining the situation to her.
"No listen here Ava, I do not like this behavior at all. If it ever happens again, you will catch hell from me. I did not forget you sweetheart. I had a long day at work, I sat down on the couch waiting for when I could pick you up and fell asleep on my couch. The minute I got up this morning I came to get you. Look at me, I'm still wearing my clothes from yesterday." She sniffled a little and turned her head so she could look at me. She asked if it was true.
"Obviously it's true. I would never forget my girl. I am sorry I was late, but that does not excuse you. You didn't even give me a chance to explain. Then, you actually let me get all the way to ten. You are in so much trouble. I should cancel our weekend plans as punishment." It was the last thing that I wanted to do, but I was pissed. Ava never acting this bratty, and I didn't want let her think I would allow it to happen again. Ava continued to cry and I knew this was something that warranted further conversation.
"Come here Ava. What's going on?" I sat on the bed and put her in my lap. She held onto me tightly gently crying.
"I was upset. It was about you being late, but it's more than that. I didn't sleep at all last night. I was crying, wonder, I thought you had dumped me. Now that you're here and you told me what happened I feel ridiculous. I over reacted, but I was scared. Maybe it was the combination of no sleep and paranoia, but I really thought you were leaving me."
"I'm sorry you felt that way. But honey, why didn't you just call me? Or why didn't you have a little faith in me? Do you really think that I would leave you like that so suddenly? Do you trust me so little?" Ava burst out in tears again. I hadn't said it to upset Ava, but I needed an answer to my questions.
"I'm sorry Aiden. I'm always afraid that I'll turn around and it will all have been a dream. I don't want that..."
"Ava, you're tying my hands here." She looked up at me confused. "If you say something that cute, I won't be able to let go of you. I'm going to want to lock you away in my house. In fact, I think that is what I will do. It's settled, you're moving in with me."
She jumped back with a look of shock and confusion on her face. I had been thinking of moving her in for a while. I was going to wait a little longer, but hearing Ava's insecurities made me think it was better to not wait.
"Aiden, you're not messing with me, are you? If you that and then take it back I won't forgive you." She warned me.
"I am serious. I want to spend every day with you. Not just the weekends, or when we have time. Besides, that wasn't a question. It was an order. We'll make some excuse about it being easier for me to drive you to your classes, and boom you're all mine." She dove into me for a hug. I couldn't help but laugh at her repeatedly thanking me.
"I am happy too honey, but it doesn't mean you still didn't earn a punishment. I want to go and celebrate, but business before pleasure." She pulled away biting her lip. I hear a faint 'I'm sorry' come from her lips. I was relieved that at least now she recognized her poor behavior and was willingly accepting that she deserved to be punished. I order her to stand in front of me and remove her clothing.
