Chapter 3, The Wedding and More
AUTHORS NOTE: This is a continuing story it should actually be part 12. It started with Shelby and Johnny PT 1, The Beginning and continuing thru nine chapters. I was going to end it there but took a chance on writing a tenth chapter titled Johnny and His Girls, PT1 a New Beginning. I received so much feedback (12100 hits in two days!) so I HAD to write more.
I hope you all enjoy the stories and continue to give me feedback, good or bad and I thank everyone who did write me.

A few months later Jake and Shannon were married. We set the date and had about 200 people invited. We would have an outdoor wedding at a beautiful site between the lake and the meadow. We had tents, not really tents but covers to keep the sun off the guests and just in case of a summer thunder storm.
For the men we decided on a Western style tux, Black cowboy boots black slacks, white shirt, and black jacket with a bowler tie and off white cowboy hats.
I bought Shannon a silver tiara with diamonds so she would look like a true "fairy tale" princess.
The music started and our wedding party made their entrance.
It was time!
Shannon and I were behind a curtain that was rigged up so she would have a grand entrance. The music started and the groomsmen, ushers and best man escorted the bridesmaids and Maid of Honor down the aisle. The curtains were pulled back and as the Wedding March started I saw Jakes jaw drop and his eyes damn near bugged out of his head as he saw Shannon.
She had grown her Golden hair out some and had it in curls down the side of her face and it really accented her natural beauty.
Her make up was also only enough to complement an already beautiful girl. She had a little glitter on her face and chest, hidden behind a white veil that was topped by her tiara.
The gown looked like she was sewn into it; it fit like a glove on her tight body. The front made her breasts look much larger. The neck line plunged down into a heat shape showing off a nice cleavage, classy, not slutty.
It was white satin and she was wearing her gold chain with a dainty little cross that Shelby had given her when she was five years old. The back had a larger Heart shaped pattern from just above the small of her back up to just below the Shoulder blades.
When I saw the video later it looked like Shannon was literally floating down the aisle!
It was very hard NOT take my eyes off of her. I didn't even notice the minister say, "Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"
I was brought back to earth by a slight nudge to the ribs.
I shot a look that went right to Jakes soul, like I was saying, "You BETTER be good to MY little girl!"
Then I said, "Her Mother and Father give her to this man."
With that I had a recording of the Hawaiian Wedding Song played.
No reason other than it's a romantic song. Β©
This is the moment
I've waited for
I can hear my heart singing
Soon bells will be ringing
This is the moment
Of sweet Aloha
I will love you longer than forever
Promise me that you will leave me never
Here and now dear,
All my love,
I vow dear
Promise me that you will leave me never
I will love you longer than forever
Now that we are one
Clouds won't hide the sun
Blue skies of Hawaii smile
On this, our wedding day
I do love you with all my heart

With tears in my eyes I gave my Shannon away. They said their own vows and it was so very romantic and you should have seen the ring Jake gave her.
Jake held the ring in such a way that she couldn't see it.
As he said, "With this ring I thee wed." He removed his hand from hers and waited for the reaction. When she saw it her knees kind of buckled a little and her hand went to her now open mouth and through her hand squealed, "OH MY GOD!!!"
He had placed a white gold band that had a two karat heart shaped diamond as the center and smaller diamonds all around. He spent WAY too much on it but the look on her face was well worth it. To keep her from crying he made some funny faces at her but after that she could hardly speak for the rest of the ceremony.
When the minister said, "You may now kiss the bride," WOW!!! Cover the kids eyes is all I can say about it.
Now it was party time!!! We did all the traditional stuff. After the bouquet was thrown the new couple were placed in a helicopter and taken to the airport and sent on their honeymoon courtesy of Kelly who also provided them with a private jet.
Before they left I handed them an envelope with the deed to the house in California.
On the card I wrote, "Take care of your new home. Love always Mom and Dad".
Shannon cried and Jake couldn't thank me enough.
