I woke up and immediately searched for mom's body beside me but the space was empty and cold.

Had this afternoon been the best dream ever or the worst nightmare ever? I thought to myself.

Where was mom? I begun to panic.

She just smiled and said "Are you just going to stand there looking so damn sexy or are you coming back to bed for lunch?" Mom asked with the sexist smile I've ever seen.

Why did bed suddenly become the most amazing word in the English language when coming from mom's mouth? I thought to myself.

Mom sighed, "That's a view I'll never get tired of seeing," Mom said.

"It's a assistant mangers job."

"Sounds great baby." Mom said breaking my chain of information.

"Erm, it's in a gentleman's club." I finally finished my sentence.

"O.k that's great I'm sure your get it." Mom said drinking her last bit of coffee.

I waited.

"Let's take your jeep mom its to hot for my jag." I called upstairs.

Once we arrived we bought some water and 2 big summer hats mom found a lovely corner of the beach with a small crowd of people and hired 2 deck chairs.

"Well there's Peggy's it's a fourth generation homely restaurant everything's home cooked on the premises, or there's a really excellent fish place. I'm a little biased on that it's my husband's place." The lady said taking mom's card.

"Let's try the fish." Mom said smiling at the lady taking the bags.

We got outside and i just threw my arms around her and hugged her, never wanting to let her go.

"What was that for baby, not that I'm complaining." Mom said kissing me.

"It's date night, she's taking me out." I looked around.

"Mom it's the first time you said to someone we're a couple." I said so proud and excitedly.

"Nobody knows us here my love, and i want to show you off.

I just wish i could shout it from the roof tops." Mom said proudly yet a little painfully.

"Well tonight we'll have the best date night ever, I know how you feel mom. I love you." I replied.

We found a little motel for the night, we checked in showered and got ready.

Mom bought a beautiful long free flowing red dress, it had a gold chain link strap around the neck and a split up the back.

I bought a pair of leather trousers, a white silk shirt and black high heel shoes.

Mom wore a red strapless bra and i went braless we all know what happens to white under club lights, it's see through.

Mom doesnt know i dont have a bra on i tied my shoulder length blond hair in a single hair grip, mom's blond hair hung loose.

I'm not a make up person really so just a little lip gloss and eyeliner, mom wore red lipstick a very barely visible blusher and eyeliner.

"Omg, mom you look..WOW" I said barely knowing the words for such beauty.

"I can't look half as stunning as you look, my love." Mom said welling up.

"Hey, what's wrong mom?" I said worriedly as i noticed a tear in the corner of her eyes.

"It's just your so stunning and you choose me to be your date, i still can't believe we're together." She said as her voice broke with emotion.

"Well listen up my love," I said quietly walking over to her taking her hands in mine.

"You are my date, you are the one i choose and you are and will be my choice now and forever. I love you so much more than i ever thought it possible to love someone. And when we walk into that club tonight you will be the only one I'm looking at." I said softly as i dabbed away her tears.

I called a taxi, and asked the lady if she locked up at anytime, some motels do, but not this one although reception closes at 1am.

"There's always someone one the phone, just press 9," The lady said with a smile.

"Taxi's here love" Mom said opening the door for me.
