Midnight Reunion
--- Night of 19 th birthday ---
"Hey Arthur, I'm gonna go toss on my swimsuit, let's get in the jacuzzi and have another midnight reunion." Sky said to me scampering into my room around
"Come on, you know how pissed Nana gets when we waste that much electricity at night, plus it's freezing tonight." I respond, rolling my eyes thinking about shivering my ass off.
"Dude, you've been falling asleep at like 8pm every night for the entire week, what's the deal? It feels like you already left for college." Sky prodded at me.
"I've told you a million times, I have those meetings with my mentor up at State at 6am. Plus going to my internship afterwards, I need all the rest I can get!" I nearly yelled, trying to guilt her for getting on my nerves.
"Artie, when you leave to the big leagues, and your little sister is stuck here floundering with no prospects, that'll be on you."
"Wrong, don't blame that on me. You're just salty things have changed. We can't stay up until midnight every night talking about shit and nonsense. I need to grow up, I can't cater to my little sister for the rest of my life!"
"Bullcrap. You're full of it. What happened to my best friend? I barely know you anymore. I don't even know what changed, what did I do? What could have possibly happened that fucked up your mind so bad?" Sky stared daggers into me. Her eyes were like crystals. I used to love looking in her eyes, but now I can't even look at her face.
"Skylar please, I don't know. I can't figure it out. I just know it has changed."
"We can figure it out. Are you scared of school? Your internship? Did you kill someone? I'll bury the body, I swear. Please, Arthur, I want my best friend back."
"I... uh... can't. I need to sleep." I respond, with a heavy weight on my back.
"Fuck off. Whatever, if you want to cut me out so bad, but I will always be here for you, I love you Arthur, but you fucking suck dude." Sky spoke softly, but aggressively, slamming my door, I think I even saw some tears.
I feel bad. "What's wrong with me?" I think to myself as I flop onto my bed. I can't remember ever feeling those things about Skylar. She is truly the best friend I've ever had, but things have changed. I can barely look at her anymore after what I did, and I'll never tell her either. I'm a fraud, taking advantage of the one person in life I promised to protect.
This story starts back when I just turned 18. My name is Arthur, but you can call me anything resembling words close to that; A, Art, Artie, Tur, you name it, I've been called it. I was in high school at the time, and was defiantly a nerd, well, still am. My sister on the other hand, Skylar, or Sky as I called her is a sporty, fitness model so to speak. I know it may come off as creepy to describe your sister like that, but it is true, she's an absolute stunner. I'm nearly 6 feet tall and probably about 165 pounds of skin and bones. Sky on the other hand is 5 foot 4 and is stronger than me. She probably could squat 3 of me stacked on her shoulders. The thing is, she isn't overtly muscley or scary. In fact, she has a nice combination of fat with her muscles, enough to make you notice that she is extremely blessed in the curves department.
Sky, like her name suggests, draws great inspiration from the beauty of the heavens with her looks. She has stunning blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and wears just enough makeup to define her pretty cheeks and soft smile. She has a bubbly personality but prefers to keep her circle small. I've never seen her with a boyfriend or any friends really to be more specific.
Now let's get this story started. Sky turned 18 approximately 1 minute after me. We are twins and for our 18th birthday, we had a mild party, with just a few friends, but they left earlier in the night. The two of us decided to stay up until midnight to celebrate as was our tradition. Our parents had died when we were young, so we grew up fostered by our Nana. We had a tradition to stay up so late because our rooms were downstairs, attached to a basement living room area. We didn't do anything weird, just lit sparklers, or sat in the jacuzzi catching up on life.
This must have started when we were in middle school, then as we got older, became a regular occurrence.
"Sky, do you ever think about how we're just ants in the great scheme of a cosmic performance?" I mutter sipping on a combo of some stolen whiskey and coke. We were downstairs in the basement bar my grandfather built for himself years ago. It was a perfect hideout because it was far enough from my Nana's room, so sound didn't travel, and the screen door led right out to a firepit and jacuzzi. It's also right next to both of our rooms, so it's sort of a private living room for Skylar and me.
"Oh but of course. '
It's all meaningless. You, me, Lebron James. We all die, and everything means nothing'."
Sky started sincere but finished off by mocking me in some sort of deep raspy batman voice.
We both burst out laughing.
Skylar starts up again showing me her perfect doe eyes, "If you really believe that, then you must not think much of me. Am I really that insignificant in your life?"
Coughing up a little on my drink, I catch myself, "No, uh, come on, you know what I mean. Plus, there is nobody worth more to me than you. Remember our pinky promise?"
I shoot out my hand, pinky extended waiting for her approval.
"How could I forget?!" She matches my pinky as they curl around each other, we both chant.
Skylar, my baby sister, I'll love and protect her forever.
"Stop it, stop it! My sides are hurting." I cry out as I'm laughing so hard, I'm going to spit out my drink. I must have said that when I was a kid, but I hardly remember the original now, because we've chanted that together for as long as I can remember as a joke.
"Make me one of those puppies, I'm going to get changed. I say we get a little cuzzi action going tonight, Nana is already passed out." Skylar says, pointing to one of the drinks I made from Grandfather's stash that must've been decades old. Luckily, Nana never knew where he kept the good stuff, so unfortunately for him, Sky and I have been guzzling it for years. He probably doesn't mind since he gets to romp around in heaven though.
I start pouring a little bit of whiskey into a glass with ice and coke like I'm a regular bartender and not some nutcase who is ruining super expensive and vintage whiskey with coke. As I'm stirring it up, I turn and notice Skylar didn't close her door all the way.
I knew Skylar had a good body, but for some reason I never looked at her like that. Not until now that is. Skylar is changing in front of an angled mirror from me, so I see everything. Her ass is so plump, almost juicy. It is perfect, flawless, shining like a gift from God himself to me at this moment. She starts sliding up her bikini bottoms and I can just tell how firm they are. I almost start salivating wondering about how it would feel to massage her butt.
Sky turns slightly and starts tying her bikini bra, but before she's able, I get a healthy glance at her beautiful breasts. Just big enough to fit in your hand, but not so big it's too much to handle. Her nipples resting perfectly in the center, small and pretty, asking for attention. The combination of her medium sized tits and her toned stomach made her look like my dream woman. I needed air, I needed oxygen, this was too much.
My jaw drops, and so does the glass I'm holding.
"Shit." I mutter snapping back to reality and turning my attention to the glass shards everywhere at my feet.
Sky darts into the kitchen, staying at a distance because she heard the glass. "Are you okay, did it get knocked off the table?"
