Mom ends the drought
I guess I should thank Sophie. After all, it was her idea to go in the first place, and her persuasion that got me to go with her. Sophie? She's my kid sister, two years my junior, nineteen now to my twenty-one, waiting to start college after the summer break. She'd been flicking through the local paper and I heard her give a muffled snort. I glanced across at her to see a huge grin spreading across her face.
"Hey, bro, did you see this?" she said, indicating an article heading an inside page.
"Guess not, I haven't read the paper today. So, what is it?"
"You need to read it yourself," she said, getting up and bringing it across to me. "This one here."
I took the paper and directed my view to the article she'd indicated, mildly surprised at the content. It was an article about the nude beach at Dover Point, explaining that the coming Sunday, July 14, was National Nude Day.
"So, it's National Nude Day on the 14th? We already knew that, Harry and Candy told us, last year, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, they did, didn't they. But read on, see what it says about free admission."
"Free admission for family groups and couples? That one?"
"That one, yes."
"So?"
"So if we go together, we'll count either as a couple or as a family group and we'll get in free."
"Whoa, sis. What makes you think I'd go to a nude beach?"
She laughed. "Naked girls? Bare boobs? Come on, Peter, you're a guy, you've been trying to see my tits since I started growing them." I flushed and she laughed. "This is your chance."
I have to admit, the chance of seeing my sister naked was one I'd welcome, because Sophie is slim, athletic, and goes in and out in all the places guys like to see on girls, and very nicely, too.
"Okay, sis, you make a very telling argument. I'll go with you, on one condition."
She sighed. "Okay, what?"
"You make us up a picnic lunch."
"Done!" She laughed. "Anyway, I'll need you to drive us there." She laughed again. "I have a driver's licence, yes, but you have a car."
"So, what time are we going? And what do we tell Mom?"
"What do you tell mom about what?" said Mom, coming into the room at just the wrong moment. Or right moment, as it turned out.
"Um..." I began, but Sophie brandished the paper.
"This, Mom," she said, and showed Mom the article. There was a silence while Mom read the article, then she looked at us, a half smile on her face.
"So, the two of you are thinking of going to the nude beach on Sunday, are you?"
"Yes, Mom, we are," said Sophie. "We can, can't we?"
"You're both legally adult now, so how do I stop you?"
"Yeah, but we'd much rather have your approval, Mom," said Sophie.
"Okay, go," said Mom, smiling, "but would it embarrass you if I came as well?"
There was a stunned silence, then Sophie cleared her throat. "I'd be proud to be seen with you, Mom."
"I would, too," I said. "I've always thought that my Mom is a beautiful woman." And she is. Slim, middle height, exercises regularly, and keeps a careful eye on our calories. I have to admit, on more than one occasion she's been the subject of my masturbatory fantasies. Okay, okay -- often!
"Well, thank you for that, son. Okay, then, the three of us will go to the nude beach on Sunday. What are you planning to take? No clothes for the beach, obviously, and we'll need to take sunblock. What else?"
"We were thinking picnic, Mom," said Sophie.
"That sounds good. Okay, then, I'll pick up some picnic food when I do the grocery shopping later."
"Get extra water, Mom, it could be hot according to the forecast."
"Extra water it is. For now, though, before it gets too hot, it's me for the garden."
That was Thursday, and the three days until Sunday seemed endless. When I jacked off, my mental vision was always either Mom or Sophie, in my imagined naked form, and I was really looking forward to seeing them in reality on the Sunday. Which eventually arrived. Breakfast was our usual cereal and toast, and at ten o'clock we piled into Mom's Honda and set off for Dover Point.
The car park was about three-quarters full and Mom pulled into a vacant slot and killed the engine. She looked across at me and then back at Sophie.
"Last chance to chicken out, kids," she said, with a grin.
"No way!" said Sophie and I nodded agreement.
"Then let's go!" And the Allison family climbed out of the car, locked it, and headed for the main building. Inside it was cool, shaded, a few couches and a desk, behind which sat a woman of about Mom's age, t-shirt and shorts at this interface between clothes and no clothes, whose welcoming smile turned into a broad grin when she spotted Mom.
"Cathy Allison, as I live and breathe! How you doing, Cathy? I would guess these two are Peter and Sophie, but it's been a few years. I guess you're here for the free admission for family groups, yes?"
"Spot on, Mary. Kids, meet Mary Killane, an old high school friend of mine." We went through the usual flurry of introduction and catch up, but a couple of minutes later, we were being directed to the changing rooms.
"If you want somewhere quiet," said Mary, " turn right when you get down to the beach. The concession is the other way and it gets busier along there. Here's a brochure, tells you where everything is. I'll put three application forms in as well, just in case, and there's a half-price offer until the end of the month."
"Thanks, Mary," said Mom. "We'll see. Okay, kids, let's go and get naked."
"Just a sec, Mom," I said, and turned to Mary. "What about photographs?"
She grinned. "Only by agreement between subject and photographer, and no candids of anyone unawares, okay?"
"Okay, thanks," I said, and turned to follow Mom and Sophie. Through the door and we were in a hallway. Signs pointed to the changing rooms left and right, and ahead of us was the door to the Cove, a sign above the door declaring, 'No clothes beyond this point.'
I took my phone from my pocket and held it out to Mom. "Put this in with the towels and sunblock, please. When we're settled I would like to take a picture of each of you naked, please, but it's your decision, okay?"
"Okay by me," said Sophie, with a grin and a wink. Mom looked thoughtful.
"Perhaps. Let's see when we're settled." But she took my phone and put it in her bag. "Okay, when we're ready, go outside and wait, if you're first. We'll all head down to the beach together."
"Sure thing, Mom."
