Day 210 Prince

Sarah aka Ginger

We had already landed in Montreal as I quickly text Gabe to go through the house and start trashing all my old shoes hoping it would be under the number Jason had quoted me for our little 'bet' where my asshole is on the line....quite literally. As I'm sure he text Kelly to go through the house before Gabe can get to my shoes for I feared Jason might be right with how confident he was.

After our little bet and Jason's confidence I silently went through my catalogue of shoes that I know I own as I started counting how many I had. As we landed I counted having at least a dozen and a half of heels. Maybe a couple dozen tennis shoes. At least a dozen or two of flats and maybe as many sandals bringing my count to at least roughly 60ish different pairs of shoes....I think.

Then there was the heels that I had broken and hadn't gotten around to fixing and maybe a few dozen of shoes, flats, and sandals laying around the house that I hadn't thrown or sent to see if they can't be repaired.

Shit and I was forgetting my various slippers.

Between all those there was my 100 if not a little bit more.

However IF Gabe were to throw away, I'll cry at this but it will save my ass, all those including the heels.

That should bring me under our agreed number.....unless I was missing something. Or I hadn't really accounted for exactly how many pairs of shoes I had as my collection had kind of grown ever since the website took off and I started getting sponsors is when my wardrobe expanded. By how much I don't know, I just knew I took advantage of it keeping as many cute outfits and stuff though I'm sure Jason had to pay for whatever I kept.

Still I frantically text Gabe hoping he would come through for his dear mother.

Maybe I should tell him what's at stake?

No, he practically threatened me with the same threat if I didn't start seeing a counselor and me finding Dr. Hill that has more or less re-ignited my passion for Jason and we were back to fooling around and being lovers again.

With my text sent all I had to do was wait as Jason and I went off to some high end country club and I got to sit with him as he started drinking some scotch while I opted for some water.

Didn't want to get drunk if I was to be Jason's secretary.

I looked around to see every man staring at us....specifically me as my outfit wasn't exactly.....dignified. Still I didn't know whether to be insecure that I had so many men looking at me OR empowered that so many were probably undressing me with their stares.

I actually caught a couple of older looking gentlemen lightly licking their lips as their eyes lingered on me.

I leaned over at Jason and whispered, "Maybe I should have worn something more covering honey."

Jason looked around to see the men staring at me before he looked at me with a smile, "Please! I bet their mistresses have worn less. You look fine."

I grumbled, "But my 'dress' is nearly see thru, babe!"

He blinked as he spoke loudly, "IS IT?" as he looked at me before he looked around and spoke to the next table, "Say Chap is it alright if my secretary wore a see thru dress?"

I nearly turned beat red as soon as he did that to match my hair as I was now completely embarrassed as I watched the 'Chap', who looked to be OUR age as he was quite good looking, lean slightly as he turned to look me over obviously checking me out before looking at Jason, "Her bits are covered and she isn't making a show of her body," he smiled at me, "though I do approve of what is being shown."

Jason smiled at him, "Thanks."

He nodded at Jason but he did produce a card handing it to Jason, "Tell your secretary if she ever wants to move up in the world I'd be thrilled to have her as my personal secretary."

Jason looked at the card and nodded at him before speaking, "Doubt it as she's my wife but good to know she can have options."

The man blinked as he spoke, "Oh," then he leaned back to look at me, "excuse me ma'am." Then he turned around to resume whatever he was doing.

Jason looked at me, then the card, and set the card down as he smiled, "There you're fine," before resuming sipping his alcohol.

I was still embarrassed as I wanted to shrink in my seat hoping no one else would embarrass me though secretly I felt completely invigorated as my heart pounded in my chest.

We sat there for a few minutes before Jason's first investor showed up and sat down.

Jason introduced him as Jesse Frederick making me blink at the man as he looked to be barely in his twenties.

I looked over at Jason and mouthed He's young making Jason lightly chuckle as he spoke, "I've been doing business with Jesse's father Henry for over 15 years. Sadly Henry died two years ago and Jesse has been generous to continue our business instead of cashing out."

I nodded as I spoke, "Ah."

Jason coughed before he spoke, "How's everything going, Jesse?"

Jesse shrugged, "Oh you know. Just taking things day by day."

Jason nodded, "I know Henry would have wanted you and your sister taken care of."

Jesse meekly smiled but spoke, "Oh he did. Just didn't know how many people, like yourself, my dad did business with."

Jason blinked, "Oh?"

Jesse chuckled, "Yeah between you and the others we have a steady flow of income where we don't have to worry about anything."

I tilted my head looking at Jesse, "Why is that?"

Jesse looked at me, "Well here in Canada when a family member dies taxes work differently. Most of dad's liquid assets like his stocks and accounts were heavily taxed BUT he did have a lot of land and that was taxed," he flashed an almost sneer before catching himself and returned his meekly smile, "heavily."

He looked at Jason, "Any ways between you and the other investors dad worked with most of the income has been able to save the properties without us having to touch the stocks or accounts." He smiled, "Almost like dad foresaw this and planned accordingly."

Jason nodded as he pulled out the first check, "Well I'm sure this will help keep the property going."

Jesse accepted the check and briefly looked down as his eyes briefly widened before he controlled himself and looked up smiling at Jason, "Thanks Mr Michaels," he briefly held up the check, "this should help take care of some of the property taxes this year."

Jason rose his eyebrow, "Well if you're interested I could buy out your stake in the business to fully take care of the property?"

Jesse quickly shook his head, "No, dad kind of made it a point in his will to keep his business arrangements going as it'll take care of the taxes. I'm sure you'll offer will be good BUT that'll only take of things short-term," he shook his head, "I have to think LONG-TERM like my dad wanted me to do." He chuckled, "At first I didn't know what that meant until I was handed all the people's info to talk to about his business arrangements."

Jason spoke, "Including me."

Jesse smiled and nodded as he chuckled, "Still don't know if I'm doing this right or not."

Jason smiled, "You're doing fine. You're beginning to sound like your dad," Jason smirked, "just nicer."

That made Jesse smile more as Jason continued, "Your dad spoke highly of you and your sister Sophia." Jason chuckled, "Sometimes after ALL my business was concluded me and him would drink as he told me ALL about you and Sophia."

Jesse's eyes watered, "He did?"

Jason nodded, "Yep, got drunk a time or two as he talked about you going to school and how much of a man you're turning into."

Jason frowned, "Even caught him almost tearing up one as he remarked he wished he was around more often to make sure he instilled the right values into you."

That did it as Jesse's tear that he was holding back finally dropped as he smiled solemnly before he bowed his head, "Thank you again Mr Michaels."

Jason smirked almost warmly as he nodded, "Sure. See you again next year."

Jesse wiped away the tear as his smile turned more warmly before turning around and walking off.

I looked over at Jason, "You really talked with Henry about his kids?"

Jason waited until Jesse had left before he looked at me smirking, "God no! Henry was my meanest clients. And the most chauvinistic."

He looked at where Jesse had left, "But the few times he talked about Jesse and Sophia he may have smiled once or twice."

I blinked at him, "Then why lie?"

Jason shrugged, "Maybe I wanted him to see his father in a different light than what he thought of him." He looked at me, "I'd rather have my kids think I always gushed on them being proud of them instead of them thinking I was some tough bastard through out the years."

I spoke without thinking, "But you're not a tough bastard on the girls."

Jason smiled at me, "I know. Kelly not so much. I was probably the harshest on her."

He looked forward as he held his cup to his lips, "And taking Gabe under my wing wasn't exactly easy Sarah."

He took his sip before speaking, "Still I'd rather have people tell me that my father was proud of me. It's more comforting."

I blinked and almost started crying as Jason was showing me a different side of him that I always suspected he was capable of always doing. I spoke softly, "So how did Henry die?"

Jason spoke without emotion, "Plane crash. Took him and his wife." He grunted, "And the pilot."

I spoke, "Oh."

He looked at me, "Eh. He was an asshole but he was smart when it came to business."

He looked up as he thought, "Though that doesn't say much...." as he trailed off.

He shrugged as if he was having a full conversation about Henry made sense to him as he made his comparisons that I wasn't hearing as he became silent and remained that way for a long pause while I diligently waited until finally giving up.

We sipped on our drinks for about ten or so minutes before another man came in and Jason stood up and introduced the next investor before Jason gave him a check. They lightly talked for a moment before he excused himself and was gone. The entire conversation lasting minutes.

Then the next came.

And the next.

Until finally I could literally hear my stomach eating itself as I was well past starving and getting hangry.

Jason obviously heard my stomach's rumbling as he waved down a waiter and we quickly ordered food.

I got the mushroom salad while Jason opted for a simple burger no mayo.

I smiled when I got my food while Jason had to send his burger back twice. The first time there was mayo and the second time there was mayo with no burger before the third time he got a build your own burger where everything was on the side. Naturally Jason was irritated but let it go as the third time it was a build it yourself which he seemed to enjoy.

I in the meantime of the growing fiasco that was almost comedic scarfed down my meal and was padding my stomach by the time his burger finally arrived.

I waited for him to finish his burger before I spoke, "So when is the prince coming."

Jason smirked at me, "Waiting to see what he's like?"

I blushed but nodded.

He lightly chuckled as he pointed to the man that was next to who he called 'Chap', "That's him."

I looked at him as my mouth dropped.

Jason smirked as he looked at the 'Prince', "I guess you're up."

The 'Prince' turned around smiling at Jason, "So I'm finally up?"

Jason nodded, "Yep last one as requested."

I blinked in surprised as Jason obviously caught my confusion as he held up the card he was handed earlier as I read 'Make me last' where a name should have been.

And here I thought the man handed Jason a card with his name and everything on it but no it was a note.

The 'Prince' got up from his chair and walked around before sitting where every investor has sat. He smiled at me, "Excuse the subterfuge but I prefer it that way. Less people know about me the better."

The 'Prince' looked like he stood a head over six foot making him at least 6'1". The little movement in his suit looked like he kept in shape but not body builder shape....just lean. He had different features making it hard to determine but the base was obvious not white. His dark black hair that naturally looked slicked back matched his heritage. Everything about him screamed he was from India or something but what was off putting was his light almost reflective hazel eyes....well that and his near pearly white teeth as he smiled.

He extended his hand to me, "Prince Benigno Anthony Samuel Travis Andrew Samir Daith the III." He smiled, "But you can call me Bennie."

I blinked after hearing his name as Jason leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Just don't spell out his initials."

Bennie looked at Jason then at me smiling.

Benigno Anthony Samuel Travis Andrew Samir Daith......

I blinked as I put the initials together B.A.S.T.A.R.D. as I looked at Bennie and spoke, "Was that intentional?"

Bennie nodded as he sighed, "Call it a penance for being birthed by the wrong mother."

I looked at him still reeling that someone would have the audacity of naming a child like that as I spoke, "Excuse me?"

Bennie shrugged, "Different world I'm afraid. My father, The King, can only sire offspring by his wives and not his mistresses but he can't just abandon us so us children from his mistresses are given the BASTARD title in our names."

I looked at him and didn't know if I should be pissed that someone would do that intentionally or feel sorry for him.

Bennie obviously saw my conflict as he smiled, "Don't worry Mrs Michaels. For I might be a Bastard in name I'm also Prince reigning over a very prosperous set of islands."

He looked over at Jason then at me, "Which I would be happy to have you AND your husband here visit."

Jason spoke, "No trying to recruit my wife."

Bennie smiled at Jason, "But she is so easy on the eyes, yes?"

Jason nodded, "That she is."

I looked between the two before I finally spoke, "Where are these islands?"

Bennie smiled, "Between Thailand and the Philippines," he looked at me, "They're called the Riau Islands."

Jason grunted, "Where a lot of freaky weather happens?"

Bennie looked at Jason, "It's no different than the weather you get where you're at." He looked out the window before looking at us, "The only time I see snow is when I visit anywhere north."

I spoke, "Meaning warm?"

Bennie looked at me and nodded, "It's always tropical in the Riau Islands." He looked at Jason, "Hardly any big storms."

He looked at Jason, "Anyways we're getting off topic. I believe you have a check for me?"

Jason nodded and retrieved an envelope from his coat pocket before handing it over to Bennie.

Bennie accepted the envelope and briefly looked in to see the numbers before smiling widely and slightly bowing his head to Jason, "I appreciate the business."

Jason smiled at Bennie, "Right back at you."

Bennie nodded, "If you shall excuse me I have other matters that need attending."

He stood and spoke, "The meal and alcohol are paid for. When you're ready I'll have my plane on stand-by for when you're ready to go back home."

He looked at me, "Please do consider visiting the islands."

He turned and snapped his fingers before turning back to us, "In fact, how about you and your family visit in June."

Jason looked at Bennie, "I don't know. We'll have to look at our schedule."

I spoke, "Why?"

Bennie smiled, "I'm marrying off my daughter in June and would love to have you come out. I'll have either my private yacht come get you or my private jet. It's your choice." He winked at me, "It'll be a grand affair."

I looked at Jason excited as I have NEVER been on a yacht, "Can we?"

Jason looked at me, almost hissing, "I'll look at our schedule."

Bennie smiled as he spoke, "Either way. Enjoy," he held up the envelope to Jason, "if nothing else see you next year."

With that he turned and walked off.

As soon as he walked off I was about to ask the question Why we couldn't go to these Riau Islands with Jason and was going to ask why he was getting irritated but as soon as I was about to ask I heard my phone chime.

I pulled out my phone and saw I had a message from Gabe.

I unlocked my phone and saw Gabe's message.

Son: Sorry I'm not throwing away ALL 231 pairs of shoes....our trash can is not big enough

I looked at the message and immediately thought....Uh Oh and meekly looked at Jason knowing my asshole virginity was now his as he looked at HIS phone.
