Chapter 2: Mother Teaches with Pleasure and Punishment

The next afternoon Asher's graduation open house had finally arrived. There were rows of tables arranged in the front yard of Asher's house. A white canopy was waiting to shield guests from the burning rays of the sun. There was a large banner that read, "Congratulations Asher-Class of 2122".

Soon, Asher was standing out front, greeting guests as they arrived. He said hello to many family and friends, some he didn't even recognize.

He recognized his Grandma Karrah instantly. She was Abigail's mother. Asher could tell where his mother's looks came from. At the age of eighty five years she was well past her prime but you wouldn't know it. Her mind was sharp and she was healthy as most women half her age. Asher always liked spending time with her as a child.

He saw Grandma Karrah approaching and then he noticed Skye not far behind. It occurred to him that he had never had the opportunity to introduce the pair.

As Karrah reached the canopy Asher gave her a warm hug. He said, "It's so good to see you Grandma Karrah."

Karrah smiled and said, "You too Asher. I swear you get taller whenever we are apart, or maybe I'm shrinking!"

Asher stepped back and said, "You're not shrinking Grandma, I do think I've grown since we were together."

Asher turned and motioned to Skye. Grandma, I don't believe you've ever met my close friend Skye. This is Skye Winslow. Skye, this is my Grandma Karrah, she's my mother's, mother."

Skye extended her hand to Karrah and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Uh."

Karrah shook Skye's hand and said, "It's Mrs. Antioch, but please call me Karrah."

Skye nodded and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Karrah."

Karrah looked Skye up and down. She said, "Asher, how come you never told me about this lovely young lady?"

Asher's face reddened slightly and he said, "Oh well uh, grandma, I uh..."

Skye interrupted, "Well I've been away at college so I don't think Asher thought about me too much."

Skye smiled at Asher and said, "But he and I will be at the same college this fall."

Karrah smiled and said, "Well that's marvelous. You and I need to discuss this over lunch. I'm going to visit with my daughter for a few minutes but then I'm going to find a spot under the canopy to eat. Would you care to join me?"

Skye's eyes opened wide and she smiled at Karrah. Then she looked at Asher. Asher said, "That's a great idea. I won't have time to eat anyway, plus you two can get acquainted."

Skye looked at Karrah and said, "We'll then it's a date. I'll see you in a few minutes."

Karrah walked away and Skye smiled at Asher. She said, "Well Asher, congratulations are in order. How does it feel to be a high school graduate and now a university student?"

Asher took a deep thoughtful breath. He said, "It feels great. I liked high school but I'm really looking forward to college."

Skye noticed more people approaching. She looked at Asher and said, "I'm looking forward to it as well. We should spend more time together this summer."

Asher nodded and said, "Absolutely."

Skye said, "Well, it's time for me to get to know grandma Karrah."

Skye turned to walk away, looked back over her shoulder and said, "Call me."

Asher nodded and said, "I will."

A short time later, Skye was carrying her plate of food and scanned the tables. She spotted Asher's grandmother sitting alone. She went over and said, "There you are Mrs. Antioch. Mind if I join you?"

Karrah looked up. She said, "It's Karrah, remember? I've been waiting for you young lady. Sit, sit."

Skye took the seat directly across the table from Asher's grandma.

Karrah said, "So you and my Asher will be going to school together in the fall?"

Skye nodded and said, "That's right. I'll be a junior and he'll be a freshman."

Karrah smiled and said, "Well I am, of course biased, but Asher is a very fine young man."

"Oh, I agree, and he's rather easy on the eyes," Skye quipped.

Karrah laughed and said, "Oh yes, good looks run in the family, biased again I know."

Skye countered, "Oh no, no, you are right."

Karrah nodded and said, "Yes, it's true. We had good genes even before scientists knew how to edit them, or whatever it is they do now."

Skye cautiously corrected Asher's grandma. She said, "Well, actually it's not legal to edit genes to alter appearance or gender, it's only legal to eliminate disease or birth defects."

Karrah said, "Well, that may be so, but it's perfectly fine to mess with intimacy."

Skye knew that Karrah was referring to the erection inhibitor but she didn't want to discuss it with Asher's grandmother. It was a hotly debated political topic.

Skye tried to think of a new subject but Karrah continued, "My parents had it easy with me. I was born just before people decided to meddle in gene biology. Two years after I was born, the erection inhibitor decree was passed by the world health organization. My sister was four years younger than me. Her birth had to be sanctioned."

Skye said, "So you must have been born before the year 2039."

Karrah nodded and said, "You know your history young lady. I was born in 2037, two years before the erection management decree took effect."

Skye nodded and said, "So you have a younger sister?"

Karrah frowned and said, "Had; I lost her a couple years ago."

Skye frowned as well and said, "I'm so sorry."

Karrah looked thoughtfully to the distance and said, "I feel fortunate to have had a sister. Nowadays couples are only allowed to have one child, there are no more siblings. After her, our parents weren't allowed to have any more children. It was the same with me."

Skye smiled and said, "I agree. I would have loved to have a sister or brother but the world population was getting out of control so I understand."

Karrah said, "Yes it's true. I suppose it's for the best, but population control got off to a rocky start. I had difficulty getting pregnant. I didn't have Abigail until I was almost fifty."

Skye smiled and said, "Well I'm glad you kept trying, because she grew up and had Asher."

Karrah nodded and said, "Yes, he's a handsome young man," she took a drink of her lemonade and said, "So, what are you studying in college?"

Skye said, "I've just declared my major. I'm going to be a geneticist."

Karrah nodded and said, "So you'll be a genetic scientist. What do you hope to achieve?"

Skye answered honestly, "Well, I suppose I don't know exactly. I do know that the field of genetics has made massive improvements to the world and I want to be part of it."

Suddenly there was a commotion on the other side of the gathering. Ava yelled out, "Asher! How rude! I am unmarried by choice!"

The guests fell silent and everyone looked over to Asher and Ava. Asher smirked and said sarcastically, "Yeah, ok."

Ava stood and glared at Asher and then walked away. Asher turned to his friends and said, "Geez, I'm just saying she's going to be an old maid," his friends laughed.

After the party Asher and a few of his friends were folding chairs and cleaning up. His mother approached with her friend Ava close behind.

Asher looked at his mother who was frowning at him in silence. He said, "What's wrong mom?"

Abigail said, "Ava told me what you said about her, in front of everyone."

Asher glanced nervously at Ava then back to his mother. He shrugged his shoulders and continued folding chairs. His friends sensed the tension and walked away.

Abigail folded her arms and waited for a moment. After a long pause she stated flatly, "You owe Ava an apology."

Without looking up he said, "Geez mom, my friends were just saying they were surprised Aunt Ava wasn't married because she's so, so attractive."

Asher looked up at his mother and she continued to frown in silence with her hands on her hips.

Finally Asher said, "Fine... I'm sorry."

Abigail snapped, "No, try again. You're not even looking at her."

Asher glared at his mother and said, "It was no big deal mom." He stormed off.

Abigail turned to look at Ava who was obviously disappointed. Ava said, "Abby, you know he doesn't think much of this situation but this is key in his development."

Abigail nodded and agreed, "I know Ava," she thought for a moment and continued, "Don't worry, I'll make sure he apologizes properly and, that he learns his lesson."

Ava smiled wickedly. She said, "What are you going to do?"

Abigail looked over to her errant son, now joking with his friends. She called out, "Asher, I want to see you inside, right now!"

Asher was startled and a little embarrassed. Abigail turned to Ava and said quietly, "Come with me and you'll see."

Ava grinned with delight and followed her friend into the house. When they got inside she told Ava, "When Asher comes in, take him to the sitting room at the back of the house. I'll be there in a few minutes."

Ava nodded and said, "Okay."

A moment later Asher walked in the door and said, "Where's my mom?"

Ava said, "She told us to wait for her in the sitting room."

Asher groaned, "Geez, I don't have all day. I want to hang out with my friends." He stomped off to the sitting room like a toddler.

A few minutes later Abigail and Asher were in the sitting room in silence, lounging on opposite sides of the room.

Abigail entered slowly. She was carrying one of the straight back chairs from the dining room table. On its seat there was a curious metal object Asher had never seen. She placed the chair directly in front of Ava, facing her.

Ava looked down at the metal object and immediately recognized it as a paddle. She couldn't hide her pleasure as she turned her gaze to Asher. Ava picked up the paddle and took a seat on the straight back chair.

She held her eyes on Ava as she spoke to Asher, "Come over here honey."

Asher hesitated at first but finally stood and walked over to his mother. He stood beside her and said quietly, "What?"

Abigail looked up to Asher's eyes and said, "Asher honey, you were horribly rude to Ava today and you caused her great embarrassment."

Asher shrugged his shoulders and said, "I said sorry!"

Abigail shook her head and said, "Not only was your apology forced, it was not heartfelt. There's only one way to resolve this."

Asher said, "Oh really, and what's that?"

Abigail held up the metal paddle and gently slapped it against her other hand. She said, "I'm going to spank you."

Asher chuckled nervously. He was prepared to call his mother's bluff. He said, "Fine."

He moved closer to his mother and began to bend over her lap.

Abigail quickly stopped him, "Uh, no, no. Drop your pants first."

Asher stood up straight and shot a look at his mother and then Ava. He said, "No way, not happening."

Abigail frowned and said, "Asher, you're only making things worse for yourself. Now drop your pants and lay across my lap so we can take care of this."

Asher shook his head and said, "No way, I'm out."

Asher turned and left the room. Ava looked at Abigail with raised eyebrows. She waited for Abigail to speak.

Abigail actually looked amused. Finally she said, "Well, I had hoped to take care of this here and now but I guess we'll have to wait.

Ava queried, "Now what?"

Abigail smirked confidently. She said, "Don't worry. Asher will get his spanking. It will be something he'll never forget, and I want you to be a witness. He needs to learn that women are to be respected."

Ava said, "When are you going to do it?"

Abigail said, "It may take a week or two, but trust me. I will spank his bare bottom. Maybe we can do it during a holocall, so it won't inconvenience you.

Abigail smiled with approval. She nodded and said, "Okay, just let me know."

Ava sat back in her chair with a thoughtful smile. Abigail said, "What are you smiling about?"

Ava said, "I guess I've still got it. Asher's friends were obviously talking about me."

Abigail nodded and said, "Well of course they notice you in that dress, you look great. It's kind of ironic that the fashion today is more provocative than ever, yet men are not able to even get erections until they're married."

Ava agreed, "It is kind of a shame isn't it? Although I do enjoy showing off my body without worrying about having to date and sexually satisfy a man."

Abigail grinned and said, "Oh Ava, you are a naughty one."

Ava said, "You have no idea. Some of Asher's friends make me wish I could get them hard. Oh what I could teach them."

Abigail just shook her head and smiled.

The next day Asher got a summer job at an ice cream parlor. It made it easier for him to avoid his mother. She was in no particular hurry to punish him. She knew time was on her side. Eventually Asher's own body would drive him back into his mother's guiding hands.

On Friday afternoon Skye came into the ice cream shop. Asher's coworker nudged him and whispered, "Hey look at that hottie."

Asher was beaming. He said, "Hey Skye! How's it going?"

Asher's coworker didn't realize they knew each other. He said, "Nick, this is my good friend Skye Winslow. Skye, this is Nick."

Skye offered her hand to Nick. As they shook hands Skye said, "Nice to meet you Nick."

Asher continued, "What can I get for you?"

Skye bent forward and put her elbows on the glass case as she surveyed all the flavors. Asher and Nick couldn't help but notice her marvelous cleavage.

Up to that point Asher hadn't built up the courage to call Skye. Asher decided it was now or never. He said, "Skye, would you like to go to a holomovie with me tomorrow?"

Skye looked up and caught Nick's eyes on her chest. He realized he had been caught and skulked to the other side of the store.

Skye smiled broadly and said, "Asher, are you asking me out on a date?"

Asher nodded and said, "Yes, that's what I'm doing. What do you think? How about dinner and a movie?"

Skye grinned and said, "I'd love to!"

Asher smiled back and said, "I'll check the holomovie times and get back to you later tonight."

Skye said, "Sounds good and... I'll have a small butter pecan ice cream cone."

Asher nodded and said, "Coming right up."

Asher picked a restaurant and a holomovie for their date that night. It was a simple hamburger joint and a romantic comedy. Skye was wearing a thin and tight shirt that accentuated her large firm breasts. The restaurant was slightly chilly and Asher could clearly see Skye's nipples.

It was all he could do to not stare at her glorious breasts. He was hoping to build up the courage to kiss her during the holomovie. Asher didn't know it but Skye's choice of outfit was no accident. She knew she was attractive and she wanted Asher as her boyfriend.

She never caught him staring at her chest but she reasoned that he had to notice. As their dinner progressed, she decided that she wanted to make sure Asher noticed her.

She had an opportunity as they were waiting in line for the show. Skye intentionally stood very close to Asher and pressed her breast into his arm. He froze at the delicious sensation. Soon they were in the holomovie. The seats were arranged in a giant circle as the plot unfolded in the middle of the theater. They were not necessarily in private but they weren't on display either.

After only a few minutes Asher noticed Skye looking at some relatively close neighbors. They were obviously kissing in the dim light. Skye looked at Asher and realized he had seen her.

He seized the opportunity and leaned toward her. She eagerly moved close and pressed her lips against his. He was thrilled. It was not his first kiss but it was by far the most passionate. He marveled at the feel of Skye's lips and tongue.

Most importantly he was excited to have moved past the "friend" barrier. After a few minutes of kissing, Skye pivoted more toward Asher and put her hand on his cheek.

He reached up and held her arm. That caused Skye to pause and pull back slightly. She smiled and used her other hand to gently take Asher by the wrist. She moved his hand from her arm and put it squarely on her breast.

Asher was delightfully surprised. Skye smiled and leaned in to continue kissing. Now Asher was in heaven. By the end of the holomovie he and Skye had learned more about each other's anatomy than seeing any part of the show. When Asher finally dropped Skye off at home, his balls had long since changed from tingling to aching.

Abigail patted Asher's knee and said, "Congratulations honey."

Asher nodded and said, "Thanks." Soon the smile left his face and Abigail could see something was wrong.

Abigail said, "What's wrong honey?"

At first Asher said, "Nothing." Then he thought for a moment and knew what he had to do. He looked down at the floor and said, "Mother, I'm really sore after my date. May I please have a release?"

Abigail had been waiting for this. She used her sweetest tone as she confirmed Asher's fear. She said, "Sure honey. We just need to take care of something first. Why don't you move one of the kitchen chairs into the holocall room and I'll be there in a few minutes."

Asher knew why his mother had given those instructions but he couldn't prevent himself from asking, "Why?"

Abigail said, "We are going to holocall Ava so you can apologize to her properly. Then she's going to watch your punishment."

Asher was horrified when presented with this idea. The alarm in his voice was obvious as he pleaded with Abigail, "Please don't mother. I mean, I am sorry that I embarrassed Ava. I didn't mean it. I'll call her and apologize, I will."

Abigail looked Asher in the eyes with an icy lack of emotion. She knew Asher had to submit to her will and she was simply giving him time to come to terms with it.

Asher finally realized that his only option was to get it over with. Asher's shoulders dropped and his gaze went to the floor.

Abigail picked up her cell phone and called Ava, "Hi Ava, how are you? Oh me, I'm fine. Hey are you busy now?"

Abigail reached out and placed her hand on Asher's knee. She continued talking to Ava, "Well, if you have time now, Asher is ready to apologize."

Asher could hear Ava talking on the other end of the phone but couldn't make out what she was saying.

Abigail nodded, "Okay yes, that sounds good. We'll give you a holocall in say, ten minutes. Okay perfect. See you then."

Abigail put her phone down and said, "Okay Ash honey, move that chair for me and I'll meet you there in about ten minutes."

Abigail left the room. Asher numbly stood and walked over to the dining room table. He picked up a straight back chair and carried it to the holocall room. He positioned it in the middle of the room and sat down on it to wait for his punishment.
