Everyone in this story is eighteen or older. The people in this story are not intended to represent anyone living, dead or not yet born. It is totally fiction and meant to be fun. The Spanish is "Google Spanish" so just go with the translations I offer as what I meant to say.

Just when you think all this COVID shit is over with, a wave hits school at the beginning of the summer semester and they cancel the whole damn summer program. So here I am, making the six-hour drive back home.
Instead of spending the summer hanging out with some friends and catching up on a couple of classes so I can graduate on time; I'll be at home babysitting my little sister. Actually, she's my stepsister, not that it matters. She's a little young brat that's been my stepsister for almost as long as I can remember. Her Mom and my Dad had gotten married when she was about four years old. Her Mom is active-duty Navy and her dad died on deployment, about the same time my mom ran away and abandoned my Dad and me. Dad is in the Navy Reserves and flies for one of the parcel delivery companies so he's not home very much. As a result, I'll end up babysitting all summer.
I had tried getting in touch with Dad to let him know I would be home, but he was evidently on a trip, and I hadn't heard back from him. That wasn't all that unusual, if he caught an overseas flight, I might not hear from him for a few days.
It was about 1:00am when I got home and pulled up to the front of the house. I didn't want to wake Julie up if she was even home, so I didn't open the garage door. I just parked out front and went in the front door as quietly as I could. As I walked down the hallway toward my bedroom, I heard a strange sound and my whole body went into spasms, as I felt one of the worst pains in my life. It was like I was touching a bare wire. I remember starting to fall. Then I was out.
I'm not sure how long I was out. When I came to, I was lying on the ground with two paramedics leaning over me.
"What happened" I managed to stammer.
I heard giggling in the background accompanied with one of the paramedics saying, "You were tased and hit your head when you fell down," as he waved a flashlight in my eyes.
What the hell, did he say 'tased'? In my own house? I thought. Then I started to recognize the giggling in the background. Was that Julie? Did that little bitch tase me? Oh, I'm so gonna tell dad about this.
"Julie?" I managed to say, in a very intense but raspy whisper.
"You're going to be okay, sir, just try to relax," the paramedic said.
"Not me. It was Missy," I heard Julie say.
Who the hell is Missy? I thought.
"Let's see if we can get you up and into a chair," I heard the other paramedic say, as I felt hands reaching under my arms and back helping me up.
My head was starting to clear now, there was a paramedic on each side of me helping me up. There were two police officers blocking Julie and some other girl from getting in the way.
"I'm so sorry," I heard the other girl, who I assumed was Missy, saying. "I didn't know who you were."
"Do you know these young ladies?" one of the police officers was saying.
"The short one is my sister," I said, as I glared at them.
"Why are you home?" asked Julie, half crying and half laughing.
"Summer term got canceled," I answered out of hand, still trying to understand what had happened.
"Why didn't you turn the lights on, so we knew who you were?" Julie asked.
"I was trying to be nice and not wake anyone up," I growled. "Last time I do that," I mumbled, looking at the police officer and managing a slight grin.
"Are you feeling, okay?" asked the paramedic, closest to me.
"Still a little foggy and my butt's numb," I said.
"That's where she got you," giggled Julie.
At that point, the police officers stepped to the side and let the girls come through.
Julie ran over to me and gave me a hug, as the other girl stayed back with the police officers, out of the way.
"Where's Dad?" I asked.
"I think he's in London with Mom," Julie said. "This is Missy, she's our nanny while Dad's out of town."
"Christ, Julie, you're eighteen now, and you still need a babysitter," I said, laughing.
A snicker came from the direction of the paramedics.
"Nineteen," corrected Julie. "A birthday card would have been nice," she added, looking directly at me.
"Actually, it's a good thing that I wish more parents did," said one of the police officers. "Two young women in a house are much safer than a young girl staying alone."
"I called the police while Missy tased you," Julie said, very proud of herself.
Missy's face was red with embarrassment. "I'm so sorry," she said, in a whisper.
"I think we're done here," said one of the officers, "I'm assuming you don't want to press any charges. So, if you will just sign this report, we'll be on our way."
"Can I press charges against my sister, even though she's not the one that tased me?" I asked, glaring at my sister.
"It doesn't work that way, and don't be mad at her, they both did the exact right thing," the officer said, looking at the three of us.
"I'm not mad. Although I'm sure gonna tell our father about this one," I said, laughing.
"Fine, I'm gonna tell him about you sneaking into the house at night," said Julie.
"We aren't going to get called back about a domestic disturbance here, are we?" the officer said, more than asked, with a grin on his face.
"No, sir, we're good," I said.
The police hung around as the paramedics finished packing up and left.
After we closed the door behind them, I turned around and looked at the two young ladies. We all started laughing hysterically at the situation.
"Hi, I'm Missy," said the young lady, I didn't know. "I'm basically your family's nanny. I help with the cooking and cleaning and stay with your sister when you're dad's on the road."
"I'm Brad," I said.
Just then my phone started ringing.
"Hello," I said, holding up my hand for everyone to quiet down.
"Hey, Dad. Oh, the alarm company called you," I said, repeating what my father was saying for the others' benefit.
"It's my fault. Summer classes got canceled so I came home. I should have called Julie and let her know. I tried to come in quietly, so I didn't wake anyone up, and this Missy girl tased me in the ass," I said, looking directly at Missy. "He's laughing; so is whoever he's in the room with."
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Oh, Berlin," I said.
