Chapter 1
I was removed from the home at the age of nine, turns out my parents were a couple of drug addicts and I had been living a horrible life. I recall that I had some siblings, but names and ages have faded over the years. I was quickly adopted and given a better life and a new name. All ties to my old family were severed.
I struggled in school due to my original parents ignoring my education and still I had not learned to read and write by the time I was removed from them. My adoptive parents spent hours each day helping me with schoolwork, helping to get me caught up. Thanks to their support, I graduated one year behind my peers at the age of 19.
Due to the exposure to my parents in the early years, and the realization that the world was full of wars, famine, and a deteriorating environment, I decided at an early age against having children
After graduating high school, I enlisted in the Navy however, I did not grow to like Navy life and left after a single enlistment. While in the Navy I attempted to get a vasectomy, but the rules did not allow that, they wanted me to be married, get my spouse's consent and worst of all, they expected me to have three kids before I could be eligible to receive the surgery. Unfortunately, lacking the desire to have kids was not good enough. For this, and other reasons, I left the Navy behind me.
I moved back in with my adoptive parent until I could find a place of my own. Using my Navy training I was able to get a job with a local HVAC company doing repairs and installations, earning a decent income. I met a woman, who like me, had no desire for children, we got married, and my life was looking up. Shortly after our wedding, her family started pressuring her for grandchildren and my wife caved and started bugging me to get her pregnant. Despite the fact that I loved her I was not willing to compromise on my decision to remain child free. This ultimately led to our divorce.
At the age of 27, I found myself alone. Now that I had been married and divorced and feeling betrayed by my ex, I again looked into that vasectomy. This time, my private insurance paid for it.
I still wanted to find someone to spend my life with, so I started reading the singles ads. One day I found an interesting offer, a singles-only cruise, this two-week cruise would take me on a journey around the Caribbean with stops in Sandals and Hedonism 2 resorts. This all-inclusive package was priced within a range I happened to be able to afford. I decided to schedule it and booked a cabin, eager for the adventure that awaited me in the Caribbean Sea.
Chapter 2
The flight from Iowa to Florida was quite an adventure, with layovers in Chicago and Atlanta, it was my first time on a plane. The layovers allowed me to observe some other travelers. One group of three men that caught my attention with their crude behavior, catcalling, and making inappropriate comments towards every woman they saw. You could just see the sleaze dripping off of them. Their lack of respect for those around them quickly became irritating.
Two women, traveling separately, seemed overwhelmed by the rowdy men, who were harassing them to the point where they started sitting together for mutual support. I wondered if these individuals were headed to the same destination I was, there was a chance since we were all on the same flight.
Upon arriving at the cruise ship, I took a moment to take it all in. The vessel was enormous, dwarfing the other boats in the harbor, and even bigger than the Navy vessel I had been on.
As I was looking at the ship, I noticed the two women from the airport boarding. My suspicion was right that we were all on the same cruise. A few minutes later the rowdy men boarded as well, prompting me to roll my eyes, wondering what I had gotten myself into.
After boarding, everyone had to sign a list of rules to follow. Nudity was only allowed on the top two decks. The top deck was clothing-optional and featured a pool and no sexual activity was permitted on this deck. The second deck was reserved for anyone wanting to participate in public sex acts. There were rooms to allow watching, and rooms to allow for participation, with the warning that all activities must be consensual and respectful, and above all, "no means no" was stressed. Violators would be locked in the ship's brig and put off at the next port of call, with the offender responsible for finding their own way home.
Given past issues with stalking after cruises, women were advised to use fake names and not give out their addresses until they felt comfortable with someone, and even then, to exercise caution.
