By second bell it was being spoken in nearly every hallway and classroom, throughout Eastside. Connie Edwards had been seen hanging out with the 4. The gossip mill was in full force by lunch. Connie Edwards had changed her look. Did you see her ass? Connie Edwards was looking HOT, HOT, HOT! I never knew she had a body like that. Did you hear? Brian Porter said he made it all up! It was all just a joke, he never expected anyone to believe it. Yeah, but I was there that day and if it wasn't Connie, then who? Someone was certainly paddling the pink canoe, but it wasn't her. Maybe Connie knows who it was?
Walking down the halls Connie was conscious of several things. First and most pressing, was the fact that her pussy was so wet that she was afraid someone might actually smell her arousal. It was a good thing that the leggings she wore were black and absorbent. She wondered how she was going to get them back to Kelly, without her knowing how disturbingly wet she was. Giving Kelly that bit of information would not be good. A quick stop in the bathroom earlier had confirmed her fears, the inside area around her crotch was absolutely coated in her white cream. She would just have to wash them first. Which of course got her wondering on how she was going to do that without her mother seeing them.
Her mother wouldn't have an issue with the leggings themselves, unless of course she saw them on her, so she would just have to make sure she didn't see. Second, which was part of the reason why she was so soaked, was that she was getting open looks of admiration from a lot of guys, she failed to notice the stares from the girls who leaned that way. She had always been a very pretty girl, but in a wholesome, unapproachable, goody two shoes kind of way. Now? Now, she looked hot. When she caught Tommy Case checking out her butt, she just smiled and let him look. The old Connie would have given him a piece of her mind about objectifying women. All of which contributed to her anxiety, as well as her overall good mood, that and the fact that the sly innuendos and comments had all but disappeared.
Those who weren't openly checking her out, well at least they had the grace to look embarrassed at how she had been treated. A few even went so far as to apologize or at least pretend that they were embarrassed about the whole mess. She found that she was walking with an extra bounce in her step and maybe... maybe an extra sway in her hips? How much of that was due to the attention her mini makeover was getting and how much was due to Brian Porter admitting that he had made it all up, she didn't know or even care. All she knew was that the nightmare that had been her life for the last week, looked like it was finally over. Brian Porter's admission had done wonders. That, and the 4 had also made it clear that they wouldn't tolerate any more insults to her. The whole Mystery Masturbator scandal had dried up almost magically. It was an extremely potent display of the power that Kelly and the rest of the 4 had. Then, Trish and Carol had approached her on her way to lunch and she knew that everything was going to be ok.
She had just closed her locker and was heading to meet up with the 4, when her former BFFs stopped in front of her.
"Hey Connie!" Trish said. Pretty with Ebony skin and big dark eyes, she seemed to have usurped Connie's roll as the dominant member of their little group.
"Hi!" Carol added.
"Hello." Connie's response was flat and unemotional.
"We just wanted to say how relieved we are for you! We talked it over with the guys and basically told them we didn't care what they or anybody else said, you were our friend, and we are all going to homecoming together!" Trish stated.
"Right, I mean who was dumb enough to believe all that stuff about you! Everyone knows what a liar Brian Porter is!" Carol added.
Connie was pissed. Even had she not been in Kelly Lambert's debt, she wouldn't forgive these two so easily, her so called best friends. They now seemed to think she was just going to forget how easily they had been willing to throw her aside. She realized right then that they were just as superficial and shallow as they, (herself included) claimed Kelly and the rest of the 4 were. More so, since the 4 at least didn't pretend to be something they weren't.
"Is that so?" She arched one eyebrow and smirked. "Thanks, but I'm going with some other friends!"
Trish opened her mouth to say something, but Connie just walked on by.
Wow, that felt pretty good she thought. After she and Kelly had arrived at school. Kelly had led her directly to the area around Cappie. Connie had felt the eyes on her as soon as she got out of Kelly's car. She had to remind herself that she wasn't naked, but she still wanted to tie a sweater around her waist and had to concentrate to keep from hunching over. She was extremely conscious of how well the leggings hugged her bottom as well as the prominent camel toe it displayed. That, coupled with how smooth she felt between her legs had her dripping like a leaky faucet. It almost seemed that everybody in their immediate vicinity had stopped to stare at her. Well, at her and Kelly both, but the looks of admiration and rapt attention were something that the Good girl was unfamiliar with. Her recent negative attention not-withstanding, she was used to most people outside her circle of friends simply ignoring her... or maybe tolerating her was a better description. Oh no! There's Connie with another petition. Great, here's Connie with another boring speech about social government policies, Connie Edwards is talking about the upcoming homecoming events? Yawn! Wake me when she's done.
Still unsure of her reception in such a public gathering, she was too preoccupied with her thoughts to realize where Kelly was leading her. In point of fact most people failed to recognize her until they were close enough to her face to realize, yes it was indeed Connie Edwards. And when they stopped near Cappie she would have cringed and slunk away had Kelly not grabbed her arm and started whispering instructions to her.
"Excellent! The others aren't here yet. Keep your back to the crowds. Let word spread that you are with me now. Also, your butt looks hot as hell, that will give them something to stare at and talk about!"
"Uhh... wait what? What are you talking about?" Connie had asked disoriented. Everything was happening too fast, not to mention Kelly was talking a mile a minute.
"You have to listen. Now when word spreads, which it will... that doesn't mean we are done, got it? This could very well be your best year ever Connie, or your worst! Listen carefully. The first thing is this; when Tiffany, Amber and Payton show up, I want you to greet them just like this..."
Kelly had given her all kinds of instructions. On how she should act with the rest of the 4, how she should act if people approached her regarding her seeming inclusion in the 4? 5? On what to say to her so-called friends who were so quick to dump her. And especially on Cal!
"So, after all this shit goes down and everyone has had a huge helping of shit sandwich, Carl will also approach you. He will be sorry. Tell you that he loves you and how he's making a huge sacrifice by taking you back. Tell him to fuck off, you already have a date!"
"It's Cal... Wait what? But I don't! Besides I love him!"
"Yes, you do! I told Michael Smith to take you to the dance. Trust me Connie! Michael is a huge upgrade over Carl! Besides why would you want him after he dumped you? Look at you! You are way out of his league anyway.
"It's Cal... and we... we broke up! He didn't dump me!" Connie said just a tad bit breathless. Wait a minute she thought. It was mutual, wasn't it? She replayed her and Cal's conversation in her head... and then it dawned on her! That bastard! He broke up with her... and he did it so smoothly that he made it seem almost like her own suggestion.
"Doesn't matter! Cuz' by the end of tomorrow the official version will be what we say it is... now don't forget how..."
She opened her mouth to protest that everything was happening too fast. That they needed to slow down. To say... something? Anything! Just then the rest of the 4 showed up and Kelly's words just slipped out. "What up bitches?"
Now here she was, almost 4 hours later, heading to lunch with the four, loving how she looked but hating it as well, wondering if she could ever go back to being true to herself... to being the Connie Edwards she was before this all happened. A small voice deep inside asked 'And who exactly was that?' she very much feared that she didn't know.
"Hi Connie!"
