Alex's hands fidgeted with anxiety as she struggled to get changed into her tracksuit. Her college team swim meeting had long finished, now she stood in a dressing room alone.
It was all due to a sudden phone call from her dad right after the swim meet. Her uncle would be coming to visit.
Even though he lived a good eighty miles from her university, he was still insistent on seeing his favorite niece. If that didn't seem a little suspicious, what did?
Not that Alex had anything against her uncle. Okay, maybe she did but it was warranted. There was always something off with Ian, you could practically feel it.
But you didn't have to feel anything to see the guy obviously didn't pick up on social cues.
For instance, the overtly sexual jokes he had no saying around the kids on Thanksgiving. He was almost kicked out when the kids started repeating them.
Her dad wanted nothing to do with him, nor did anyone else in the family. But of course, her dad wasn't against tossing him into her hands.
Alex groaned. This would be an awkward, long week.
No doubt she would have to cancel any plans her friends had to hang out. He'd want to come too. He had the self-awareness of an infant.
She took off her one-piece swimsuit, revealing her medium-sized breasts and hairless sex. Her blonde hair fell and reached to the small of her back.
There was a creak as the door. She had little time to react with her back turned completely to the door. She froze, praying that it wasn't Uncle Ian. Her teammates were gone, the bus left a good five minutes.
Maybe it was a custodian. At least that way, the whole would've been a complete accident and chances were she wouldn't see them again.
She turned to find out. Fuck.
Her uncle stood at the doorframe with the fakest look of surprise on the middle-aged mother fucker's face.
Alex was quick to cover herself with her red track jacket. Her face reddened with embarrassment and anger. How did he get here so fast?
"Sorry! I just wanted to see if you were here." Ian said, still not closing the door.
She shut her eyes and massaged the bridge of her nose trying to keep herself from lashing out at her uncle. It was far from the best reunion, with Ian, it could've been much worse.
"Well, you know now."
"Sorry," He said again before shutting the door.
Alex stared out the open window of her uncle's car, the wind cooling down her heated face. The ride had been silent as it should be. Her uncle, who she hasn't seen in years has seen her nude. Him of all people.
She focused her mind on other things.
It was already dark by the time was swim meet had finished and from the interstate, they had a nice view of the city and its many skyscrapers. It was one of the perks of living in the big city, this kind of view wasn't possible back home.
"Listen about earlier-" Ian began, trying desperately to break the well-deserved silence.
"Yeah, yeah, it's fine. Whatever." She brushed it off even though she knew damn well he was feeling lucky about the good look he got at his niece.
He chuckled. "You know, you've grown, a lot."
And there he goes. He went on about how she was once a little girl chasing butterflies in a field and now a student in her second year of college. Nothing she hasn't heard before. So like always she zoned out, to enjoy the view. She almost forgot she was trapped in a car with her uncle.
"So why don't spend the whole weekend together?" Alex was brought back to earth in a flash.
"Wait, what!?" She stared at him with widened blue eyes.
"Yeah, I've already found a good hotel and there's so much we could do."
She paled. There was no way out of this, was there? She couldn't just turn him down. As much as she hated his guts she wouldn't say to his face. Let alone outright reject his offer after it's been years since they've seen each other.
She didn't have the heart to be that cruel.
Her small frame slumped in the car seat and her arms folded. "Why not?" She muttered.
He grinned. "How old are you now? Eighteen, nineteen?"
"Eighteen."
"Well, today you're twenty-one."
Her brows rose but she got the idea when they drove up to a bar. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach from both anxiety and excitement.
Since she was an impressionable thirteen-year-old, she's always wanted to go to a bar. Despite being in college, she's only had alcohol once. At a friend's house for her sixteenth birthday. Not exactly the best, but her parents never found out and it was sorta fun. It was the taboo of it all that made it exciting.
Alcohol was a little too easy to come by at frat parties but she bothered to go. The guys were cocky and loud and the girls were shallow airheads. She'd rather not be around that.
