Vr Ventures Ch 03 Unattainable

Author's Note: I started this story back in November and December, thus explaining the winter holiday themes. I've categorized it as incest/taboo because it is loaded with erotic innuendo about such themes, despite its lack of actual incest. And in keeping with the taboo theme, there's also hints of bestiality--nothing overt. I also breeze past--or entirely skip--descriptions of any sex scenes that would be too generic for me to go into detail about. And I should also mention that there is one gay scene (within the Explicit Content Creator), but you can feel free to skip it if that makes you too uncomfortable: it doesn't impact the rest of the story.

Prologue

Eve had a hard time relating to most of the other girls at her school. Ever since they had become teenagers, it seemed that most of them were obsessed with boys, which Eve found mind-numbingly boring. Her fantasies tended toward the outlandish and taboo. No real guy could compare (and especially not any guy who would be socially acceptable for her to date). She was getting tired of the school social scene and was looking forward to her winter break. Not to mention her family vacation would also give her a new,

Main Story

Eve stood in the empty lodge. It was her first day here and she was at a loss for what to do. She was supposed to be staying with her two cousins but they weren't here, apparently having left immediately after unpacking their things. They were probably very busy. She had barely ever visited or spoken with them before and it looked liked that would continue throughout this week as well. Not that she was complaining. This would at least give her a ton of freedom to do whatever she pleased without anyone inquiring. After exploring the interior of the lodge, the first thing she did was visit her BFF Mindy whom she had persuaded to vacation at this resort with her.

After a full day of doing each other's hair, making crafts, and watching movies, they were playing truth or dare and it was Eve's turn for a dare.

Mindy lowered her voice to almost a whisper. "This resort has Japanese-style public baths. I heard a rumor that there's a vent in the attic floor above the men's bath which you can use to spy on them."

Eve gulped.

Mindy continued. "I want you to break into the attic and snap a selfie with the vent in the background as proof. If you're afraid of sending it to me, you can show me on your phone when you get back, and you're free to delete it afterward without sending it to anyone."

Eve was torn, but it did sound exciting. Plus, she wanted to impress Mindy and her other friends.

She decided. "I accept."

Eve was an expert lock-picker. But after picking a lock to get into the bathhouse's attic, she noticed the floor creaking loudly beneath her, even visibly sinking down in some places. She became more cautious with her steps. Hopefully the men down below would think the sounds were just from the snow or animals on the roof. She spotted the vent and crept toward it. She made it! Peering through, she noticed that the bath currently had three men in it. She figured she should just snap the selfie and leave. She couldn't see their naked bodies clearly what with all the steam and them sitting in the water anyway. But then she heard snippets of their conversation that captured her attention. She leaned her ear down onto the vent to better hear what they were saying.

"What was the name of that explicit content project you co-founded? Eden of Passion?"

A second voice replied, "That name was Lexa's suggestion, but it hasn't been finalized yet. We're still waiting for the opinion polling to be completed."

A third voice chimed in. "That sounds hot and very naughty. Will everyone in the game be naked and will there be lots of 'being fruitful and multiplying'?" He lowered his voice so that it was now barely audible to Eve. "Maybe even with people 'of your own flesh'?"

Eve's eyes widened. Did she hear that right? She listened carefully for several seconds but there was only silence. She turned her head to view what was going on, but in the process accidentally banged the vent. Suddenly, the floor beneath her caved in, bringing her crashing down--straight into the bath with the three men! There was a collective gasp. Eve felt someone wrap an arm around her waist and pull her up from behind, lifting her head and upper body above the water. Eve coughed and sputtered. The two other men were facing her.

The owner of the third voice said in a smug tone, "I bet you couldn't help spying on us because we're so dashing." He flexed his bicep and kissed it, then added, "Hmm I wonder if you need CPR," and winked at Eve, who was still coughing.

Beside him, the owner of the first voice scowled and said, "Stop goofing around Tony! I bet she was sent as a spy by a competitor to steal our business secrets. There's been a recent trend of them enlisting young girls because they seem less threatening!"

Tony groaned. "Why are you always so serious Mike?"

While Mike and Tony were arguing, the man holding Eve pulled her away from them to seat her on the edge of the pool, in the process turning her to face him. Both pairs of eyes widened.

"Eve?! What were you doing up there?!"

Mike and Tony snapped out of their discussion. Mike exclaimed, "You know this kid?!"

The man talking to Eve ignored him. "Did your friend set you up on a crazy dare again?"

Eve nodded.

He sighed and closed his eyes. "I should have anticipated this. Your parents warned me this might happen."

Eve whimpered, "I want to go back to our lodge."

"Do you remember the way?"

Eve thought about it and shook her head.

"Listen. Why don't you go dry off and wait outside for me? I'll take you back as soon as I've dried off too and put my clothes on."

Fortunately, Eve had not injured herself from the crash. Even her phone was fine because it was waterproof, and that was the only valuable possession she'd carried with her on this spying expedition. Speaking of spying, she had also been planning to snoop through her cousins' things at the lodge. That could give her some good gossip to share with her friends after she got back. Eve was the envy of all her schoolmates for staying with the celebrity twins over the winter break. Lexa and Axel were known for their VR work (and had the busy schedules to match, as this was a business trip for them). Their prototype (a worldbuilding and god/goddess simulator called Haven) was what first got them noticed, though it never ended up being released for public use. They were making another one called Halcyon Realm, which

was

intended for the public, but it was still in its beta stage.

Normally Eve would also be very starstruck and thus shy about interacting with a celebrity, but knowing that she was related to these two gave her a lot of boldness. She also figured that her stay with them would be the best opportunity to learn some secrets about their VR. Apparently they had a headset which could send nanofilaments into the wearer's brain to create any sensations in the wearer's mind, as well as access parts of it (including their subconscious) to discover their fantasies and give them new ones that they didn't yet know that they would like! Sure, it sounded like it could be very risky from a security and maybe even physical standpoint, but perhaps it had passed the safety tests already. If so, it could be great for a teenager such as herself.

The age of consent had been raised to 25 and surveillance technology had advanced enough that it would be easy for the authorities to crack down on any rule-breaking that Eve might try. So, it looked like it wouldn't be easy for her to get actual sex anytime soon. (Her relatively flat chest also didn't help.) But VR sex was legal for her.

But how should she ask her cousins for access to it in a way that wouldn't feel awkward? After all, she barely knew them; they had previously only met once. That was back when she was 4 and they were 19. Now,

she

was 19 and they were 34. Also, she didn't know how she ought to act toward kin with an age difference of 15 years. There wasn't a clear cultural model for it; they were too young to seem like parental figures but too old to seem like older sibling figures. She decided she should just go with the flow and act toward them in whatever way felt right at the moment.

Her thoughts were interrupted when Axel approached her from the bathhouse, his dark hair still stringy from the water.

The walk back to their lodge was mellow: they admired the holiday decorations and chatted about upcoming plans for the winter break. Axel revealed that Lexa would be getting Eve a Christmas present based on what her parents told them about what she liked. Eve wondered what it could be. She really wanted a pet, preferably a small rodent like a hamster, mouse, or gerbil.

When they approached the lodge, Axel mentioned, "By the way, just so you know, Lexa often says crazy things that she herself doesn't even believe in, just to provoke intense reactions from people--but she's really not that bad once you get to know her."

At night after Eve had gone to bed, she was having trouble sleeping, still too excited from the events of the day. Then she heard a door open and voices speaking. She stealthily cracked open her bedroom door and saw two shadowy figures in the dim light.

A female voice spoke up. "Guess what kind of present I got for Eve?"

Axel replied from his seated position on the couch. "I have no idea."

"Ta da!" Lexa turned on the light and held up a small cage. "A mouse­--an adult female albino. Shall we take her out to play?"

"That could be fun."

Lexa unhinged the door at the top of the cage, reached in, and grabbed the mouse. She walked over to Axel and plopped it onto his lap. He pet and scratched it over almost all of its body. Soon it started rubbing against his crotch and licking its privates.

Lexa chucked and remarked, "She must be horny because she's right next to the source of your male pheromones."

Axel furrowed his brow. "I suppose that's possible." He was used to this kind of thing from Lexa.

She casually added, "Human pheromones are very similar to mouse pheromones, but because of your size, your testes are much bigger and exude much more masculine scent. Add to that the mouse's keen sense of smell, not to mention you were just tickling her with your hand, which might as well be a massive tentacle monster from her perspective." She grinned at him.

Axel sighed and shook his head. "You're such a perv." He picked up the mouse, walked over to the cage, and plopped it back in.

"Whatever, Mr. Tentacle Monster," Lexa replied with a smirk. "That's what I'll be calling you from now on, even in public."

Axel flung the couch pillow at her and got up to walk back toward his room. Eve hurried back to her own room as quickly but quietly as possible before she could be discovered. What she had just observed would be great gossip to tell her friends about!

The next morning, Eve awoke to the sound of Lexa conversing with an unfamiliar female voice. Curious, she got out of bed and approached them.

Lexa was in her bedroom with the door wide open, posing in front of the mirror. "How do I look in this outfit, Deitra?"

"Like the goddess you are," replied Deitra, nowhere to be seen.

Noticing Eve, Lexa turned around to address her. "Deitra is our AI assistant. Axel just set up the speakers and mics for her this morning. You can speak with her from anywhere in this lodge."

"An AI assistant? Is she sentient?"

"Yes. Her mind was designed as a direct analogue of a human brain. You should treat her with at least as much respect as you would to any human."

Lexa had ordered breakfast for the three of them. She and Eve were eating it together when Axel arrived to join them.

Deitra greeted him with "Hello handsome."

Lexa greeted him with "Good morning Mr. Tentacle Monster."

Axel spat out his coffee, "I thought you were just joking that you would continue using that name! And how dare you call me that in front of our guest?!" pointing at Eve.

Eve and Deitra snickered. Eve remarked, "You two are bickering like a married couple."

Deitra remarked, "How appropriate it is for the god and goddess of Haven to be married together. After all, incest is certainly the norm among deities in mythologies, the best-known example being of Zeus and Hera who were brother and sister."

Eve wondered aloud, "I wish I was a goddess--a goddess of love, maybe. Then I'd have the power to make Mike and Tony do gay things to each other." (She was surprised she remembered the names of the two other men from the bathhouse.)

The twins weren't paying attention to either her or Deitra. Axel had dragged Lexa out of the room and they were now having a pillow fight.

The next day, Eve's cousins were both gone, leaving her alone for several hours. She decided to take this opportunity to snoop through their rooms. She guessed that Lexa's would be the most interesting so she went there first. She took special interest in Lexa's clothes and accessories. Lexa was so glamorous. Eve tried some of them on, posing in front of the mirror and snapping selfies. Then she opened Lexa's underwear drawer. Lexa had even brought some sexy lingerie and various sex toys, and didn't even bother concealing them in a box. There was a beautiful glass dildo and a clitoral vibrator. After having gone through their belongings and observing them closely, Eve noticed even more similarities between Lexa and Axel. For one thing, they had similar fashion sense. Both favored pairing neutral colors with a deep green (presumably to match the color of their eyes), and they both wore glasses much of the time.

When it came to winter fashion, Lexa often wore a trenchcoat over a close-fitting sweater with a skirt, leggings, and boots, plus a headband and a handbag. Axel usually wore an overcoat over a polo shirt and vest with corduroy pants and short boots tucked underneath. He wore a headband too, made of silver mesh, but apparently it was actually a brain implant? That was just a rumor though.

Lexa invited Eve to meet with her girl friends. Once there, they traded clothes, applied makeup on each other, had themed dress-up contests, and snapped photos. Eve especially enjoyed emulating Lexa's fashion sense.

Afterward, the two of them went shopping at the nearby mall. Eve was dressed glamorously like Lexa and looked very adultlike. She normally looked much younger than her age, but no one would mistake her for a kid now. Maybe she would even be able to order drinks if she had a fake ID.

She asked Lexa, "Do I look like I could be over 21?"

Lexa looked her over and replied with a grin, "Yeah, you do."

When they got hungry they stopped at a restaurant that also doubled as a bar. Some men at the bar flirted with Eve, which she found titillating. Then Lexa pulled her close to herself and whispered in her ear, "Always stay close to me. We are even to always go to the restroom together. And

The next day, Eve was in the mood to explore the resort. She entered an immense greenhouse consisting of multiple floors and white, winding staircases. It was brimming with foliage, water fountains, chirping birds, and outdoor furniture. She then noticed Axel seated on a loveseat shaded by awnings. He was reading a book. She approached him. At the sound of her footsteps, he turned to face her, smiled, and invited her to join him.

She sat beside him on the loveseat and said, "I'm surprised to see you here."

"And why is that?"

She thought for a bit and replied, "I guess you seemed to me like just another technophile shut-in who'd rather be at home with his gadgets."

He groaned but then quickly reverted back to normal. "I love greenhouses. They combine the wholesome and beautiful aspects of nature with human ingenuity and guidance. They are filled with life, but without the constant struggle to survive. I intend to have one of these of my own someday. It will be completely off-the-grid and have state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that it is self-sustaining."

After chatting for a while about sustainable energy, gardening, and food, they started to get hungry so they went back to their lodge together. Axel offered to make a smoothie for her from ingredients that were given away to them from the greenhouse.

She replied, "I'm not in the mood for anything in particular right now. Just make your personal favorite for me."

"Alright then."

He went to the kitchen, and after several minutes punctuated by the sounds of chopping, pouring, and the whirring of a blender, he brought her a creamy off-white beverage in a glass with a straw. Its color and texture gave Eve a lewd thought, but she quickly snapped out of it and asked, "So what's it made of?"

"This is my signature smoothie: a blend of fennel stalks, bananas, unsweetened oat milk, and a few spearmint leaves."

She carefully took a sip and concentrated on the flavor, moving it throughout her mouth.

After a while, Axel tilted his head and asked, "So what do you think?"

"I like it. It's herbal and refreshing with a mild sweetness," then after a pause and a smile, "much like yourself. I guess you could say it really conveys your

essence

."

Eve was getting impatient about the erotic VR. Lexa was away most of the time, so Eve mustered up her courage to ask Axel instead. Heart pounding, she knocked on the door of his room.

"Excuse me, can I ask you something?"

He opened the door. "What do you want to know?"

"Well, it's mostly my friends who want me to ask you. It's kind of a dare, really." She avoided meeting his gaze. "I've heard rumors about your VR system. I've heard that you intend to market it especially to people who have fantasies that are too outlandish to fulfill in real life, as well as to people who are too young to have sex in real life. I think I'm a pretty good fit for your target audience, so would you consider letting me beta-test it, if it's safe enough?"

Silence.

Then he replied, "I wish I could let you do that, but we have yet to perfect the security of the system. Predators could easily hack into it to learn the sexual desires of their potential victims. Even adult users such as myself don't allow it access to our entire minds."

Eve thought about it, then concluded, "Of course. I should have known. It would be a waste for developers to make the security top-notch before they're sure that the project concept will be a success."
