Bella
The beat-up old Nissan Sentra pulled into the lot of an older apartment complex. The lot was full of old dented and rusty cars. A group of black children were playing some sort of game on the sidewalk.
What have I gotten myself into?
Bella thought.
This seems so...poor. I bet this place is full of drug dealers and prostitutes...
"Everything ok sweetie?" the woman in the driver's seat asked, as she pulled into a spot outside of one of the buildings.
Poker face Bella
She thought to herself.
It's not like you have anywhere else to go...just hope I don't get murdered in my sleep.
"What? No...sorry I was just thinking about what happened." Bella replied.
Nice Cover!
"Well, I know it's not much compared to what you're probably used to. But it's home." Said Sarah.
They got out of the car. Bella hadn't ever ridden in something so loud or uncomfortable, she smelled exhaust and fumes even after getting out of the car, but she was trying not to judge...a new concept for her, and it was taking some getting used to.
Sarah moved to the entrance and punched a code. Bella stood behind the big woman marveling at the size of her ass.
Well at least there will be food in the apartment judging by that ass...God Damnit Bella! Judging!
She schooled her thoughts and waited while Sarah punched a code into the keypad outside.
Inside wasn't much better. The carpets were frayed and dirty, there was a skunky smell in the hallway with hints of something musty and...old-smelling. Sarah led Bella up the stairway to the second floor. Bella found herself staring at the way Sarah's ass bounced and shook with each step. Bella winced as she followed up the stairs...she hurt all over. The painkillers were wearing off, and the beating from her father was taking its toll. She stopped halfway to take a breath.
Sarah turned at the top of the stairs, "Oh honey, I'm sorry, I forgot you were hurting. We should have taken the elevator down the hallway. Here, let me help you."
Sarah came back down the stairs toward Bella, who still wasn't quite ready to climb yet.
"Come on, let me help." Sarah said. She came down beside the much smaller girl and tried to lift an arm over her shoulder. Bella winced and pulled away. "Jesus...he really did a number on you huh?" Sarah said. Ok...bear with me here, this might be awkward, but I got you."
Sarah leaned down and wrapped an arm under Bella's legs, then lifted her fully into her arms while carrying her like a baby. The lift was gentle, and the woman's pudgy softness was a boon, cushioning the pressure on Bella's bruised body. To Bella's surprise, the woman wasn't even breaking a sweat as she carried Bella up the stairs and down the hallway.
I could probably do it from here.
Bella thought, about to ask to be put down.
But on the other hand, this feels...nice.
She rested her face against the woman's arm. Sarah smelled much better than the hallways of the apartment. A clean laundry smell came from her shirt and beneath that was more subtle floral fragrance.
They walked down the hallway and around a corner to the end of the building. At the doorway Sarah, to Bella's disappointment, set her down gently and fished in her purse for keys.
The door opened. Sarah stepped inside and flipped on a light. The light revealed an open floorplan apartment which opened into the kitchen area.
To the left was a door, probably a closet or something, while to the right was a galley-style kitchen with a countertop on the inside part of the room that was open at the back, making for a bar-type arrangement. On the counter Bella saw a stack of cookbooks and what must have been that day's mail. She scanned the book spines noting that most were for Low-Carb, Keto, and other 'healthy eating' types.
The kitchen and the apartment in general were tidy and surprisingly homey. Bella looked in past the kitchen to a living area with a big puffy grey sectional covered with pillows. There was a quilt draped over the back. The rest of the room contained a TV, a plant stand with a variety of cacti and other succulents, and a bookshelf. The first two shelves were filled with Stephen King hardcovers. Below that on the next shelf were a number of fantasy and science fiction novels. And the bottom was filled with Dungeons and Dragons books.
Nerd...
The TV was connected to an old Xbox 360, and there was a controller sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch.
