Dr. Hayes sits in his office when the intercom goes off.
"Dr Hayes, you have a new client." said Joy his receptionist.
He gets up and heads to the reception and sees me looking nervous. He smiles.
"Hello, I'm Doctor Hayes." he says greeting himself when he puts his hand out to shake mine.
"I'm Blake. Nice to m-meet you." I say nervously.
He shakes my hand. Dr. Hayes is smiling noticing my cute, nervous stammer.
"No need to be nervous, Blake. Please follow me into my office." Dr. Hayes says to me.
He walks ahead of me, leading me to his office. He sits at his desk, motioning for me to sit opposite.
"Please, Blake have a seat." said Dr. Hayes.
I take a seat.
"So Blake," he says, "please tell me what brings you here. What can I help with?"
"I... had a breakup with my girlfriend. I got drunk and I need help to beat my addiction so I can live." I explain to my doctor in detail.
I sigh feeling ashamed of myself.
"I see. Well it's a good step to seek help. I'm not going to beat about the bush. What do you know of hypnosis?" Dr. Hayes asks me.
"I never heard of it, Dr. Hayes." I answered.
"OK." said Dr. Hayes. "Basically it's a way of making you completely relaxed. It allows me to basically control you and we can talk about things you keep buried hidden even from yourself. I know it sounds scary but I promise you it is the best way to help."
I begin to question if what he's telling me is true. I felt however a little apprehensive about the idea of this procedure.
"Will it hurt?" I ask. "What do you mean control me?"
"Completely pain free." he answers. "In fact, even when you wake up, you will feel great. When I say control basically, you will be in a trance. You will do everything I say instinctively. It's a way to maker sure you are completely open and honest with me and with yourself, but I promise you, you are completely safe in this room."
I take a deep breath.
"Ok, Dr. Hayes, I trust you." I say in good relief.
"Good, please go over to the couch and lay down." He tells me.
He locks the door, close the curtains and turn off the lights leaving just his desk lamp on.
"Blake I have to be honest, jeans are not the best for this." Dr. Hayes says. "The idea is to be totally relaxed and comfy. Would you feel comfortable taking them off?"
"Uh... take them off?" I ask in hesitance.
I became concerned by your request as I laid down.
"What for, Dr. Hayes?" I ask him.
