**Everyone herein is much older than 18...
Also, for those who haven't read my bio, I am bisexual (or more exactly, pansexual, loving everyone and 'everything' on two or four feet.)
My Wife passed unexpectedly.
We moved here to take care of him. He's 78 with Parkinson's, and a stubborn, egotistical, misogynistic and extremely controlling old man. Whatever Phil wants Phil gets!
When my Wife passed, she left me alone with the burden of caring for her father who lives with us.
This turned out to be "in EVERY way".
I retired early at 62 to help my wife care for her father and help maintain our home.
After my wife's passing, and as I took over my wife's duties in the hands-on care of her father, it came time to make him shower, something at his age hadn't interested him, but personal hygiene was she had enforced with him. I just didn't know quite how she did it or how I was to proceed having never helped an adult, especially a man) do before.
So... treading cautiously, I offered him three choices, respecting his privacy and preserving his self-dignity. And though old men (even at my age, aren't "my thing", I strangely hoped for the last option).
a) I could let him or help him undress and take his shower with me outside just in case;
b) I could join him in the shower with swim trunks on and help him;
or
c) get in the shower naked with him and help him, point being, whatever he was comfortable with.
