Steve walked into the apartment and turned the lights on hanging his coat on a hanger by the door. He made his way over to the kitchen and began looking through the drawer where he and his roommates kept a stash of take-out menus. He thumbed through a few for Asian restaurants, a sub shop, burger joint, and even a pastry shop. However the menu that caught his eye was for a small pizza place down the street. Steve grabbed his cell phone and called the place up making an order for a large cheese pizza.
Steve then decided to lay back and relax on the sofa for a while waiting for the delivery. The young man flipped through the channels for bit until there was a knock at the door. He opened it to see the delivery boy standing in the doorway holding a pizza box.
"Did you order a large cheese pizza?" the delivery boy asked looking down at the receipt containing the name and address.
Steve paused for a moment looking at the handsome black man holding his pizza. Steve thought he had seen him somewhere before but could not place him.
"Yes. How much do I owe you?" Steve said with a smile.
"Twelve fifty" the man said.
Steve went over to his wallet and began counting out the money while the delivery man walked in placing the pizza box on a nearby table.
"You are Steven Caster right?" the delivery man asked.
"Yes I am -- do we know each other?" Steven asked a bit confused as he handed the man the money.
"Yes we met once about a month ago. I'm a friend of Josh and Lucas." The man replied.
