Hey guys, here's a cast of characters for Birthday Pool Party! I received a request to create a cast of characters that could be referenced later on. I thought it was a great idea, so I went with it. If you haven't read Birthday Pool Party yet, you might want to wait to read this, as it does contain minor spoilers. I tried to avoid mentioning any plot points, and I described the characters as they are as of Chapter 01.
Please note that Birthday Pool Party is a work of fiction. I might use parody names for pop culture references: including songs, books, movies, and celebrities. However, they are not meant to accurately represent the real people or media. This is a fictional universe. As always, this is a world without STI's, and everyone involved in sexual activity is at least eighteen years old.

~Introduction~
When I first started writing Birthday Pool Party in 2022, I had no idea that I would be working on it for well over a year and that it would continue for dozens of chapters. It all started with a dream I had about a freckled redhead in a light blue bikini. Which was strange, since I never remember my dreams! Either way, I feel like I have really grown as a writer thanks to Birthday Pool Party.
I made a lot of mistakes, especially during the beginning of the story. If I knew how long the story would be, I definitely would have come up with a different title! However, I really love the characters and this entire world. I hope to continue exploring the character's lives in other works in the future. We'll see where things go!
I write in a world with out sexually transmitted infections(STI's). This is a fantasy world, and STI's suck, so why should they exist in a fantasy world? In addition, this world has an amazing form of birth control that is over 99% effective, and essentially stops menstruation. This enables characters to engage in sexual behavior that would be considered very risky if they occurred in real life. Also, there are a lot of characters, and keeping track of every woman's cycle would be a nightmare! I repeat, this is a fictional world!
About Birthday Pool Party; the story begins on Saturday March 15, 2025. Now, I wasn't very meticulous with dates in earlier chapters, so there might be some inaccuracies. This should be resolved in later chapters.
The story is set in the fictional city of Ashwood, California, which is located in Southern California. Most of the main characters are seniors in high school when the story begins, and they all attend Adrienne Dennis High School. You may recognize the name, which is used with permission as a tribute to an amazing author.
Everyone in the story who engages in sexual activity is at least eighteen years old. The characters all have families, and, as a result, there are definitely characters in the story who are younger than eighteen. However, none of the characters under eighteen will engage in any sexual activity, nor will they be placed in any sexual situations.
I plan to split this document into four sections. The first will be Main Characters. These are characters who will appear in most chapters, and will have their own Point of View sections. The exception to this is Lexi, who is the only main character to never get a point of view section.
Second is Supporting Characters. They are important to the story, but are not Point of View characters. They could be siblings or lovers of main characters, or just prominent people in the world. Either way, their sections won't be quite as fleshed out.
Third, we have the Minor Characters. These characters might only appear a couple of times. Maybe they'll only be mentioned once. Their inclusion in this chapter is mainly so the reader can reference them later on and be aware that they exist. This will be a long list, and I may add to it later. For the most part, I'll include very little information about them in their descriptions, since they just aren't that prominent. At least not yet.
Finally, we have the Story Cultural References. Birthday Pool Party is set in a fictional universe, and I try to avoid mentioning businesses, movies, television shows, books, things like that. In addition, there are characters in this universe who have their own businesses or even write books. Abbott Trails and Suzie's Twenty-five Acts are set in the same universe!
As a result of this being a unique universe, there are various fictional forms of media. Many of them are essentially parodies of real works, and you'll be able to figure out which they are! Other times they are completely fictional. Either way, I decided to add them in here for easy reference.
In conclusion, this cast of characters is meant to be a reference for Birthday Pool Party. There absolutely will be information below that the reader might not find out until later chapters of the story. The spoilers will be minimal, but they do exist. There may even be information that has not been explicitly stated in the story itself. If you have not read Birthday Pool Party at all yet, you might want to skip this chapter and only come back later when you need to reference who someone is. You've been warned. Also, if you are new to Birthday Pool Party, please don't judge me too harshly on earlier chapters! I like to think the story comes into its own further down the line. Steven Thomson -- Date of Birth: 29 September, 1984.
Description: 6'0", muscular, brown hair, green eyes.
Steven is a self-made man who used a modest inheritance to start a company known as Thomson Finance. Having lost his wife over ten years ago, Steven can be considered a very sad man. Still, his daughter, Kayla, is the light of his life. Despite his devotion to Kayla, Steven is not a controlling parent. He respects Kayla's right to run her own life. The youngest of three, Steven is estranged from most of his family. Steven loves video games, reading, and board games, although the Sunday Family Game Night was abandoned after the death of Aria Thomson. While he does workout every day, Steven isn't a big fan of sports, especially golf. He also loves country music.
Kayla Thomson -- Date of Birth: 09 March, 2007.
Description: 5'5", slim, raven hair, green eyes, C-cup.
This girl is everyone's friend! Happy and outgoing, Kayla is a popular cheerleader who loves her friends and family. After the loss of her mother, Kayla became very close with her father; she is truly Daddy's little girl. While everyone knows her, Kayla's best friend is Hazel Collins, and the two of them are also very close with Marcia Moore and Ashley Bartlett. The four girls have been friends for years. Kayla is a great student, and looks forward to a bright future. She is crazy about her boyfriend, David Cooper. Like her father, Kayla loves games.
Hazel Collins -- Date of Birth: 17 November, 2006.
Description: 5'9", slim, fit, tan, long brown hair, brown eyes, B-cup.
Hazel Collins and Kayla Thomson have been best friends since elementary school. As part of a very religious family, Hazel had a very strict upbringing. Her parents don't make a lot of money and work long hours, leaving Hazel to watch her three little brothers. Hazel is like a parent to her brothers, who she loves with all her heart. Hazel is also very close to her grandmother. A lover of good television, Hazel will often stay up late watching her shows. As a result, she is absolutely not a morning person. One of Hazel's defining features is her long brown hair, which she always keeps in a ponytail that falls almost to her butt.
Ashley Bartlett -- Date of Birth: 01 September, 2006.
Description: 5'11", slim, blonde hair, blue eyes, DD-cup.
The most outgoing of the Gang of Four, Ashley is always up for anything! She loves music and dancing, and is usually the first to make a witty remark. Ashley loves her baby sister, Melissa, who she loves to playfully tease. Ashley is a great student, despite her cavalier attitude toward her classwork, and she is a terrible cook.
Marcia Moore -- Date of Birth: 04 February, 2007.
Description: 5'3", slim, raven hair, brown eyes, C-cup.
Marcia is a very quiet girl. Is she shy? Kind of, but it's more she's just the type to observe and not speak. An only child, Marcia is doted on by her parents, who are so proud of their daughter for how hard she works at school. Marcia tends to do her best to rein in the others, preventing them from doing anything too crazy.
Alexis "Lexi" Davis -- Date of Birth: 06 September, 2006.
Description: 5'2", slim and lightly freckled, red hair, green eyes, B-cup.
Lexi is not very popular. She isn't teased, it's more that she's ignored. The beautiful, lightly-freckled redhead had an older brother and sister, and always feels like she lives in their shadows. Her parents are very judgmental, and expect their children to never disappoint, despite their own failings. Due to overwhelming pressure, Lexi ends up in a toxic relationship with Keith Strulk. There are a lot of unsavory rumors going around the school about Lexi's wild sex life. Rumors are often exaggerated, so who knows what the truth is? Lexi loves club/dance music.
Stacey Martin -- Date of Birth: 21 July, 1999.
Description: 5'5", slim, long blonde hair, blue eyes, C-cup.
After a fairly stereotypical high school and college experience, Stacey became the executive assistant to Steven Thomson, and is an irreplaceable member of Thomson Finance. Thanks to the high paying job, Stacey is able to afford her own apartment so that she no longer has to live with her college roommate, April Heidele. Stacey has an amazing head for numbers, and is a wizard with spreadsheets. She loves pop music and drama television shows. In addition, Stacey has been drawing since she was a little girl, however she keeps this to herself, not letting anyone see her work. Stacey has had feelings for Steven Thomson ever since she first started working for him, but has never had the courage to pursue the obviously sad man.

Nicole Davis -- Date of Birth: 26 January, 1999.
Description: 5'4", slim and lightly freckled, long red hair, green eyes, B-cup.
Nicole was much more popular in high school than her younger sister, Lexi. Despite this, Nicole never dated very much. She majored in accounting in college, and is now a certified public accountant. Nicole has her own apartment, and works as a Staff Accountant at Ashwood Logistics. With her own friends, Nicole isn't involved in her baby sister's life.
April Heidele -- Date of Birth: 06 September, 1999.
Description: 4'11", petite, wavy blonde hair, green eyes, B-cup.
This tiny girl is full of energy! April moved to the area for college and never left, partially thanks to her friendship with her roommate throughout college, Stacey Martin. The little nerd is of Scandinavian descent, and she wears cute black framed glasses. April majored in computer science, she loves club/dance music, and science fiction.
Sarah McLorn -- Date of Birth: 02 August, 1996.
Description: 5'7", firm and toned, short light brown hair, brown eyes, B-cup.
