He walked into the office and saw her sitting at the Reception Desk. She looked so lovely and so sophisticated.
"My God, what are you doing here Celia?"
"I work here Dave." . Her smile lit up her face when she spoke to him.
It must be 15 years since they had seen each other and he never expected to see her in this situation. He was working as agent with ASIO and it seemed that she was in the front line as Secretary to the Director. He wouldn't have come up on her radar because he was working under an assumed name.
Celia was a tall, well proportioned woman in her middle years, her dark brown hair showing just a few gray hairs, but kept neatly in a low chignon at the back of her long, swanlike neck. She had green eyes that sparkled with mischief and a luscious lip line. Her body was full, with a voluptuous bustline, a smaller waist and very full buttocks. All this carried on long, slim legs.
Dave himself was a much taller man, he stood about 6"3". Because of the type of work he did, he had to keep his body in shape and he had broad shoulders and chest, with strong muscular thighs and legs. He had brown hair and green eyes flecked with gold, with a slightly crooked nose, from an earlier fight, and full lips. His skin was of a golden tan from his years abroad, when he would work out in just shorts. Overall, a beautiful specimen of man.
"Can you get away for a coffee later, Celia?"
"I'm afraid not, the Boss has 2 meetings today and I have to be here all afternoon in case he needs me. But I can meet you after work, about 6o'clock."
"That sounds terrific, we can catch up on a few years then. I will see you back here then alright."
Later that day, Celia and Dave were sitting in a booth in a local pub.
"Now, you have to tell me what you have been doing all these years, and how you ended up working in that office," said Dave.
"Well, after you left town last time, I felt that I wanted to do something else with my life, other than be a Doctor's secretary, something more interesting. So I applied to ASIO and after many interviews and about 8 months waiting, I was lucky to get accepted as a Secretary in the General Pool. I gradually worked my way up and was eventually promoted to the position which I now occupy. I love the work," replied Celia.
"Now tell me about you, Dave. How long have you been with the Department?"
"Well, I was actually working for them the last time I was home on leave but couldn't say anything to anyone. Since then I have worked all over the world, never in one place for any length of time."
"So tell me, have you remarried or do you have a special person in your life, Celia?"
"No, no one at the moment. And you?"
"No, no-one. I'm never anywhere long enough to get involved in a relationship."
"I am going to be back in town for about 6 months this time, so maybe we can have dinner sometime soon," queried Dave.
"I would love that, sounds like a great idea," replied Celia.
